However, we are sorry that the 6mm clicker hoop is too small for your helix. We would always recommend visiting a reputable piercer as they will be able to advise whether the certain piece/pieces that you are after would be suitable for your piercing. “I have had two Helix piercings that I did myself about 25 years ago. I hardly ever wear jewelry in them because they start to hurt after just one day with standard studs and rings. I happen to randomly be reading an article on piercings (on Pinterest I think) and saw a recommendation for Laura Bond earrings. Since they have a flat back, I thought maybe I would try and see how those worked. Shipping was super-fast to California (even came a day earlier than expected)! When the earrings arrived, I was a bit surprised at how small they were and the thickness of the back. After about 15 minutes of trying by myself, I was able to get both the stud and the ring in (yes it hurt like I was piercing them all over again). The trick of putting a standard earring in and putting the post over it really made it easy. I noticed the pain I had always had when I wore jewelry in my piercings before started to go away after just a day of putting the stud and huggie in and after a few days, my ear didn’t hurt at all anymore! I am so excited to finally find jewelry that I can wear all the time. And even though it looked small in the box, the stud looks great in my ear with the huggie. I am already looking to purchase more (and get more piercings)! So happy I stumbled upon this site.”
