“First looked at the webpage for an Argyll jacket for grandson. Unfortunately his choice was out of stock but I was on the waiting list and was promptly emailed when the jackets were back in stock. Order one immediately and was surprised how quickly it arrived. When he was home he chose a sporran which I ordered online and made a small error that the staff picked up on immediately and emailed me. No delay on despatching the sporran and it arrived next day. Turns out I did not order quite the one he wanted but have told him he will have to live with my error (nasty granny!). Thank you Kilt Society, he does like the one he has got but will no doubt put a dig in every so often about me getting it wrong!!!”

“First of all would like to thank Rachel for her help - have limited skills using my computer! My grandson is delighted with the kilt he chose for his 18th birthday and will wear at The Leavers' Ball in June. With eight yards of fabric the kilt has a good swing as he walks! Thank you Kilt Society.”

“i was incredibly comfortable wearing my kilt, fit was perfect. only one small problem stitching on hem inconsistent.”

Hey Tim, Perfectly normal stitching in the essentials kilts. A custom made kilt usually has a selvedge edge which allows the pleats to hang perfectly. This doesn't happen with the hemmed versions and so the stitching is in place to help hang nicely. Looks odd to look at stitching but works so well for these kilts. Hope that helps and you enjoy wearing the kilt ~Rachel

“It's my very first kilt, that i wanted for years, and it's great! I'm in love with that material, the way it looks like with shirt and shoes, just amazing. I will definitely order more stuff, that will make my outfit complete. Thank you!! I'm sorry for my english - I'm from Czech Republic.:)”

“Hi there. Was pleased with my jacket except from the fact that the front button stitching fell off very early on in the night and it wasn't even a tight jacket at all. Very disappointing and annoying.”

Hey Adam, that is really annoying. Really sorry about that. Our team are aware of this so it can be picked up with the supplier. We should also be checking these before going out.
