“Happy enough with kilt pin received however I did order a gift box too which did not arrive. I telephoned and was told that one would be posted that day. That was about six days ago and still no gift box??????”

“Ordered my first pair of Ghillie Brogues (Kilt Society) from MacDonald Sporrans. As with my other orders this one also arrived ahead of schedule, I wish I could get orders this fast from folks here in the States ! The quality is good however I have a wide forefoot and the brogues are a bit narrow for my foot. If you also have this issue start off with regular socks (not good hose) and a cotton ball and a bit of isopropyl alchohol to rub (SMALL amount) on the tight spots and walk around to help stretch those spots. After a bit of "spot stretching" they are great! These brogues are really going to compliment the look for the Christmas party ! Thanks again, Jeff”

“The quality is excellent. The four star rating is based on the fact that the belt and chain for the sporran are too small to fit properly. It appears to be for a kilt a size below the one orders.”

“A 44 waist as asked. For,it was found to be 6 to8 inches short in the waist.returned back on the Thursday/Friday requiring bigger size. Awaiting my return from Florida,when I will be delighted to receive the replacement. The service was fast and good the trews were great of very a very good standard looking to find out on the 10 the of December on my return. Sam welsh”

Hi Sam, Thanks very much for your review, its such a shame to hear that the trews were not quite suitable. I do want to mention that tartan trews are sized slightly differently to regular trousers. As they sit so much higher up, you should take the measurement from around the fullest part of your tummy as the trews should sit about the same height as your belly button. Your trews size is usually quite different to your standard trouser waist size. I'll be sure to let you know when the trews have arrived back with us ~ Sam

“I ordered and received 6 Tartan rugs, unfortunately I had to return 4 of them. Have kept 2 which I am very happy with and look forward to hearing that I have been refunded for the 4 which I returned to you last week.”

“I purchased a Kilt, a Ghillie Shirt and Black Hose, I was very pleased with my purchase, fast delivery and superb customer service. I did have one problem though and that was with the Ghillie shirt, the cuffs were to small for my wrists and I cannot close the buttons, I don't have larfe wrists and with any shirt there has to be room at the wrist to breath ect, if I had mannaged to get the button closed it would have stopped circulation in the wrist, I leased with Samantha in Customer Services by email who was very helpful, sadly all the shirt sizes are the same in the wrist, but I like the shirt and rather than send it back decided to cut another eye in it for cufflinks.”

“directions on properly setting it up would have been nice. I did them off the internet so I am good. Otherwise the shopping was easy and although my original was out of stock and was told they did not know if they would ever get it in again. But I am happy with what I got. Richard Godfrey”

“Loved the kilt when it come but it was to small sent it back and it was changed very quick with was great but new kilt was different it was very short and being 57 Was a bit young for me but no worries I gave it to my 19 year old daughter it's more for that age”

“I bought the 8 piece budget set. The kilt is readily great, the shirt is nice also. It arrived very quickly. The sparron and belt look more like a costume so honestly might as well just get the kilt and shirt and buy a nicer sparron and belt that he basic one that comes with it. I will purchase from here again.”
