“Communication was great. As soon as the last item came into stock outfit was despatched immediately. Jacket was lightweight but for the price it was excellent value. However the kilt itself was not that lightweight at all despite going for the basic one. Order was perfect and everything fitted perfectly. And it all looks superb. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Most excellent service and value! This is how it's done!”

“I ordered the Budget 8 yard kilt on a Tuesday. Choosing 1 Day Delivery I was excited to open it up and try it on Thursday after work. The fit was perfect (I used my trouser size!).”

“I first ordered from Kilt Society when my 6 year old son asked for a kilt for Christmas. Within 10 days it arrived all the way from Scotland and we were so impressed with the quality for such a reasonable price. My son John Rogers wore his kilt as often as he could, at home, at church, or just anywhere. He loved it. A year and a half later, when my daughter was planning her wedding we knew John Rogers would want to wear his kilt in the ceremony. But we were surprised to hear from his brother Thomas that he also wanted a a kilt to wear. So with only four weeks until the wedding we ordered a kilt but this time it had to be custom because of Thomas' unique size. Kilt Society came through for us beautifully. My boys were asking every single day when their new kilts would arrive. 3 days before the wedding the boys were overjoyed to have their kilts arrive and fit perfectly. Thank you so very much for making the extra effort to make the wedding a happy happy occasion for all, including the 7 and 9 year old brothers of the bride!”

“I purchased a Luxury Clan Crest Sgian Dubh and a Crossed Thistles Kilt Pin (Pewter). Very pleased with both items arriving well within the quoted delivery time, approximately 1 week due to the custom clan crest on the sgian dubh. The sgian dubh is great value and, although it comes unsharpened, it is easy enough to sharpen with a sharpening stone if you wish to make it a functional piece. I will definitely be making more purchases in the near future.”

“Kilt Society arranged to have my husband and son's kilts altered (extended at the waist.) This service was remarkably good value at £20 per kilt and they even replaced the straps at no extra cost. The service was quick and efficient and we were kept informed of progress. The kilts were beautifully finished too.”

“While the product is not as we knew it then in 1940. Modern workmanship lessens the authenticity. Never the less, thankful for the product is fine. Happy??? R'ds, Richard”

Hey there, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. This sgian dubh is one of our basic safety range. They're great for something light and safe but not with the real blade. I hope you use again should you want an authentic sgian dubh with blade ~Rachel

“Incredibly fast delivery - ordered on Sunday and got it on Wednesday in California! Kilt was exactly as ordered. Fit was perfect and quality excellent. The pleats don't "swing" like the pleats on my wool kilts, but for the price, that's a small issue.”
