“Delivery was very quick.
Sadly the tent had been packed badly, trapping the fabric in the hinge mechanism.
When we opened the tent for the very first time the trapped fabric tore, creating a 100mm hole in the brand new tent.
The repair material is self adhesive but isn't very sticky and has started to peel after a few days in use.
Not my first Kyham tent and won't be my last but clearly quality and packing isn't up to scratch at the moment.”
“Please don’t misunderstand. But I am no expert and expect someone to sort your website in such a manner that one feels helped. If I buy, which I have, I expect to be told what extras I need in order to join a motor home to a drive away awning. O n something like: “if you buy this you will need……. Which is NOT included. “ the two items I bought are superb but unusable without the necessary attachment. You need to be a bit more savvy. Likewise, if you are making an updated tent, you really must have an up to date video of how to erect it. Send I ding me a link of a “similar” older model is not helpful and shows a lack of care for your customers.”
“The product is as expected although not used yet as it arrived too late for my holiday in April.
This product was ordered on 31 Dec 2020 and did not arrive until May 2021.
Whilst I understand that it was a pre-order I find it totally unacceptable that the money for this was taken at the time of order rather than on dispatch as happens with most reputable companies. When delay after delay occurred, communication was sparse (at best) and no compensation was offered. Very disappointed with the customer service.”
“Item arrived quickly but was delivered to a nieghbour and a card left on my porch which I didnt find for 2 days.
The tent came with no instructions or even list of what was in the box. No photo of the tent to aid construction. Had to search the internet for a tutorial video which is not even made by Khyam!
Eventually put the tent up to find it was ripped already and had a man sized footprint inside on the ground sheet. Seems to be a returned item sent out as new.
I emailed Khyam with photos. They offered to collect and inspect to establish if they should repair under warranty, totally missing the point that I have been sent a used, faulty item as new.
I am now waiting for Khyam to respond to me as I wish to send it back for a full refund.”
“The buying process was simple and clear.
However I haven't received the goods. DPD send me a message that delivery was due on 29-7 between 11:49 and 12:49. On that day I received a message they were unable to deliver at 10:53 because nobody was home. (I only arrived at 11:15)
I did not get a notification for a next delivery. 30-7 I got another message that they were unable to deliver. And supposedly they have left a note in my mail box. I can't find the note.
So I would advise you to contact DPD and ask them to improve their service. Or switch to another delivery service.”

Very fast delivery but it took me 3 weeks & 4 phone calls to speak to the only person who could help! 1st call was told he was on hol & he'd call me, no call, 2nd call was told the person I needed was not in until Fri, they'd call me, no call! 3rd call she was sorry he hadn't called & she'd put me through, left on hold! 4th call, yes...finally.
I was after 1 set of poles for annex which cost me £50 inc delivery! Expensive I think but can't get it anywhere else .”
“on their website is a countdown clock,if you pay before the clock gets to 0 they will post out for next day delivery,,i paid 10 mins before the clock reached 0,,the tent had not arrived by 2pm the following day (friday).i contacted khyam and was told my tent had not been posted yet,but will be posted today,but i paid for the tent before the clock timed out,the reply was basically hard luck we never received the order until after the clock timed out,no apology,i asked why bother having a clock,he could not answer this,at no time during this conversation did i feel like a valued customer who had just spent almost £1000 with this company,,they said they will post today ,i asked would it arrive by saturday he said yes(saturday costs more for delivery,i thought ok they will swallow the charge due to non delivery that day)the chap then said he would check that it goes out and get back to me,,1 hour later still no confirmation,,i then called again spoke to another chap,,explained all again only to be told it will be posted out today for delivery MONDAY,,even after arguing the point he would not upgrade the post for saturday.the tent duly arrived on monday (hurray),,they never had the correct size carpet in stock,but posted out one that was smaller with the promise that they would post the correct one to me when they are back in stock (3 weeks)i have my reservations but lets see if they are true to their word,,”

“They don't answer the phone, you leave messages and they don't reply. Then after making the order they sent me the right bit but for the wrong tent. I then had to return the part. So not a good experience. Having said that my khyam tent is brilliant and I would recommend their tents unreservedly but not their customer service.”
