“This was my first visit to Anne Veck, Oxford and I loved this place from the moment I walked in. The staff remembered my name and I really liked how the stylist, Sylvain really listened to what I said. I want Sylvain and Anna to be my new best friends, that's how welcome I felt. As, Arnold Swarz(whatever his name is) said, "I'll be back".”

“Sylvain did my hair and gave my hair a much needed new look! He gave good suggestions in the consultation and again on the day, I loved the creative process and he is very attentive and explains what he does! I trusted the process and it was a great experience and result - a much needed treat to myself! Thanks again Sylvain!”

“My first balayage session with Sylvan, one of many to get my dark brown hair as blonde as possible. My hair is in great condition and Sylvan took amazing care to paint my thick hair! Sylvan is creative and passionate, and even when I had a small issue with the first toner he went above and beyond to sort it, which I really appreciated. Looking forward to the rest of the journey!”

“So, so happy. Elia, skilled colourist and stylist, transformed my frazzed, home-coloured hair - taking at least a decade off this 60+ year old! Can't believe the result was even possible. The care and attentiveness shown by all staff made my visit such a positive experience. You can feel safe in their hands.”

“I had a haircut and colour with Sylvain last week. I let him to decide the colour for my hair and the results were fabulous. I was shocked, when I left the salon and a man told me 'Oh, la, la, tu es très belle!' How did he know that a French did my hair🤣🤣🤣 Thank you Sylvain!”

“I have been going to Anne Veck Oxford for several years now, so when I got engaged I knew exactly who I wanted to be doing my hair. Anne was wonderful, despite being delayed over a year due to lock downs. Her dedication to her clients, especially her brides is exceptional. She did both my and my mother's hair right from cut and colour, through a hair trial to the 'big day'. I didn't have a fixed idea on style but I did know I wanted a softer version of a late 40s early 50s style up do but with quite vibrant 'sunset' ish colours. Anne was able to turn this into a wonderful modern style. Her experience and creativity was clear through out the process from the bleaching and colour placement to the final hair up design. I was reassured that she was taking photos at each stage during the trial so that she would know exactly what we decided come the big day. My husband came into the salon a few days before to have Desmond cut his hair (for the second time). His hair is quite tricky to handle being naturally dry, tightly curled and very easily broken. Desmond understood quite a complicated brief (a mixture of different lengths on the top, side and back including some fading) and delivered wonderfully!”

“I got a balayage and hair cut from Sylvain (the wizard :P). The end result was absolutely gorgeous. Being dark haired, i dint want my hair to be bleached to get a brighter shade and i wanted tones of autumn. I just had to tell Sylvain this and he did his magic of painting different copper tones and the end result is so cool and fun! it looks great and the hair cut as well just makes my hair looks amazing! I have had a great experience at Anne Veck for hair cuts in the past. They are my go to salon in Oxford. But this was the first time i had balayage done and Sylvain did an amazing job. he is an absolute legend. I am in love with the end result!”

“I came to the salon for a colour correction. It was a disaster but Sylvain did a SUPERB job and rescued my hair. From patchy orange and black roots to an even blonde. He worked very carefully with my hair and made sure every inch was perfect. Was the first time I left a salon impressed and amazed by the result. 100% recommend if you want your needs listened to and amazing outcome.”

“I have always had long hair, and finally decided to make a real change and cut it very short. Sylvain was the one I trusted with this decision, and it turned out brilliantly. Highly recommend!!! Ich hab immer lange Haare gehabt, und hatte mich nun entschieden, sehr kurze Haare mal auszuprobieren. Ich hab Sylvain vertraut, und das Endergebnis war super.
