“Been coming to Anne Veck for 4 years. Unpretentious, professional, fantastic haircuts and colours. Lots of compliments. Sian did my hair yesterday, very talented lady. I don’t think it’s expensive, compared to places I’ve been before. And they always give you a quote so you aren’t surprised. Good news Afro hairdresser arriving this month. My daughter in law is moving here. 🤗🤗”

“Just heard that Desmond Murray will be joining the Anne Veck team from 20th October. Incredible news , he's a 5 times British Hairdressing Awards Winner and one of UK's best afro hairdressers and men's hairdressers! Can't wait to have him cut my hair. (spoiler alert : I'm Anne's partner but he really is that good).”

“WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! I had a haircut here and the lady who cut my hair was incredibly rude to me and cut my hair way too short. Firstly, after washing my hair, the lady blow dryed my hair anda after blow drying it and curling it , she burnt my head twice with the dryer on purpose and showed no remorse. She then proceded to kept criticising me while cutting my hair and there was no technique whatsoever in the cutting which made my hair look uneven. When I finally finished my haircut, I just decided to do a plait in my hair myself and the lady said 'no, you can't do your own hair as this is a salon and we do it as a profession only. You must pay now' SO i was rushed to leave the salon under the most ridiculous reasoning and unable to even take a moment to look at my cut properly. DEFINITELY DO NOT COME HERE!”

“I had the most spoiling morning with Sylvain cutting my hair, he worked wonders on hair that was heavy, dead and generally unhappy. It is now 100x lighter, glossier and I left with a spring in my step! The salon itself is fantastic filled with lovely people and incredible natural products.”

“Just had my best hairdressing experience in a very long time with Nicola at Anne Veck. Nicola was extremely careful and precise and I love the eco friendly approach of the salon overall. There is an extra discount for students on certain days which makes the price hard to beat. Highly recommended - I'll definitely be back with Nicola specifically.”

“If you are looking for a sophisticated hair colour/cut combined with care, look no further. I have been Anne Veck Oxford's customer for more than a decade and my loyalty continues as they keep providing the highest professional service. Sylvain is my new hairdresser and I could not have wished for a better match. He asks many clarifying questions, looks at old records, and strives to understand exactly what the customer wants and suits. He doesn't stop there; he uses his artistic eye and expert's judgement to suggest and experiment with the customer's consent. I have dark brown hair with white roots. I wanted to go lighter without complicating the maintenance. Today, a very complex process of covering roots that blended beautifully and gradually with balayage on the rest of the hair was executed to perfection. Sylvain gives utmost attention to the quality of the hair too. The use of nourishing and gentle products accompanies all interventions he does. I LOOOOVE the outcome and can't wait to keep going back and experimenting with Sylvain :)”
