“Proof that you can go from black dyed hair to blonde if you give it enough time!! I've had five sessions with Sylvain now and he has gradually removed years of black henna and box dye from my hair and lightened it. My hair feels sooo much stronger than when we started as he has been careful with the condition. It's gone from feeling porous and dry to being healthy and soft. I thought I was stuck with the black dye forever, I can't believe it's finally gone!!! Thank you to Sylvain, this was not an easy job ✨”

“I had a hair cut with Sylvain a few days ago. The salon was so welcoming and relaxing, with a massage chair when I was having my hair washed! The message of sustainability is engrained throughout the salon and gave me hope for a better future. Sylvain is just a genius hairdresser, so incredibly creative and just understood what I wanted. I left with the haircut that I have been waiting for from so many different salons. I’ve even booked in for a colour - going platinum and pink! There is something so refreshing about Anne Veck Salons, and being in the hands of kind and creative artist that really believes in sustainability!”

“I was disappointed. I came in with a shoulder-length bob cut which was uneven and messy at the back as it was growing out. I asked for a trim to even out the back so my hair would be less messy while asking for the few strands at the front to be a bit longer. I kept mentioning over and over again to please keep my hair as long as possible. The stylist decided to chop my hair by a massive chunk and turned it into a ridiculously short inverted bob which i never asked for. The haircut does not suit my face at all and now i get so upset every time i look into the mirror. I look aged and the cut looks like a puffy mushroom on my head, with my hair texture. Anne Veck is more expensive than other hairdressers i usually go to in Oxford hence i expected so much better services. Not respecting the client's wish is one thing, giving someone a haircut that looks bad on their face shape and hair texture is another thing. It took me ages to grow out my hair to this length - i was so excited about my hair for summer and now it will take me months to grow it out so it looks acceptable again. So disappointing...”

“A busy, friendly, welcoming salon. And the best cut I’ve ever had. Also lowlights this time which have been a real transformation. Not the cheapest by a long way but as they say - you never regret your luxuries, only your economies. How true.”

“As usual Anne worked magic with her scissors and hair dryer. A quick trim and blow dry and another transformation! I had a wash and finish at another salon before an event - nobody available at Anne Veck- and it demonstrated how easy Anne makes it look and the result is on a different level. Thank you Anne.”

“Sylvain was amazing! I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first and he gave me so much inspiration and talked through it all in depth before the colouring appointment. Everyone qt the salon is so lovely, but most of all I’m so happy with my hair! Sylvain really is an artist, it was a pleasure to watch him work!”
