“Memory of Life took a lot of care with the arrangements for my mother's short funeral service. The various options were set out clearly and in good time, and as the date of the service approached there was some discrete follow up to check that everything was as we wanted it. Memory of Life were able to find the exact recordings of the music that we wanted played which was appreciated. All the professional staff involved on the day were excellent and very considerate. It was a concise, but very poignant service and we all felt that it was a very fitting final farewell to our mother.”

“Having chosen to donate her body for anatomical examination, nearly three-and-a-half years had elapsed since my mother's passing when Laya, from In Memory of Life, contacted me with a date and time for her cremation. I had always assumed that this final stage of her journey would be a rather regimental process, knowing that there would be a dozen or so similar cremations before 10am, but it was clear from Laya's first contact and regular updates that they treat everyone of them with the utmost respect, dignity and sensitivity. Although the committal service is barely ten minutes long, we were able to choose entry/exit music and discuss readings with the chaplain beforehand, which meant that along with the traditions of the hearse, pallbearers and funeral conductor provided by In Memory of Life, we were able to give my mother a perfect, personal send-off. Only myself and my wife were able to attend in person, but friends and family were able to watch the livefeed and download the video after the event. I'm very grateful to everyone at In Memory of Life and the London Anatomy Office for giving me the opportunity to share my mother's final journey and be reminded of her kindness and generous spirit.”

“I recently had the difficult task of planning my mother's funeral, and I am beyond grateful for the incredible support we received from In Memory of Life. From the very first moment we reached out, Harriet made everything as seamless and comforting as possible during such a challenging time. She was truly attentive and compassionate, listening carefully to our needs and making sure every detail was taken care of. I feel that the team who assisted us, Harriet, Grant and Jo, went above and beyond to ensure my mother’s funeral was a beautiful and respectful tribute to her life. Their professionalism, kindness, and care made a world of difference during such an emotional time. “I would like to thank Harriet for helping me through this difficult time in arranging the funeral for my wife Jan. She was very professional and kind and could not have helped me enough. She made the whole process stress free and arranged everything for me perfectly. I would also like to thank Bob for a fantastic service he provided at the funeral, it was very emotional and over 100 people who attended, all said what a fantastic service it was. “Thank you to all the team. My thanks especially to Tali. Communication was absolutely fantastic. My aunt died in a carehome and Tali communicated not only with me but the Carehome Manager. Tali organised the pictures for the rolling screen and took care of the order of service. The funeral director on the day, Peter, was caring and wonderful. The funeral service was beautiful. I cannot say enough... and would not hesitate to recommend the services of In Memory of Life. Many thanks”

“In Memory of Life funerals arranged the commital service for my dear Mum on behalf of the London Anatomical Offices. I could not have hoped for a better team to organise and manage this sad occasion, and from start to finish they were kind, supportive, helpful, empathic and understood our needs. Laya was especially helpful, with speedy, informative information and her communication was great. The service ran extremely smoothly, the live screening worked exceptionally well and we received a copy of the service the following day. Music, photo's, beautiful flowers and general information were all perfect and helped up get through this very sad occasion without issue. I would not hesitate to recommend In Memory of Life for anyone needing a supportive, caring service. They were excellent. Thank you to Laya and the team.”

“In Memory of Life were excellent, in their sensitive handling of our mother's recent committal service, following whole body donation. My family and I have nothing but praise and gratitude for how the event was conducted - both on the day, and in the supporting dialogues before and after (by phone and email). Absolutely flawless. Our Mum had wanted a simple, short, humanist service. In Memory of Life delivered exactly that, beautifully - combining our tribute, readings, & musical choices with moving words around whole body donation & the committal itself. Being able to share a live stream/recording with loved ones overseas who couldn't attend was perfect. The attention to detail, and the general sense of caring on the day, and before/after, was super reassuring. Ultimately we all felt In Memory of Life had given our mum a send-off that fitted her perfectly - affectionate, respectful, and celebratory - she would, we all felt, have been delighted.”

“The loss we experienced was sudden and unexpected. This was a very emotional and stressful time. Harreit from the service was so understanding and professional. She made the whle process simple and straightforward. Her communication and updates were excellent. We arranged everything in a very short time frame and she was very supportive. “After receiving news of the death of my Uncle who lived over 100 miles from me I was feeling overwhelmed. From the first call with Harriet to Tali finalising all the details I could not of asked for more support.
