“I can't thank the whole team enough for their excellent service. From the beginning, Nick, Harriet, Holly Laya and Rebecca literally took away the stress and strain from me. “Excellent service by the hole team .but at last minute .the message that you did not have the coffin I ordered and the replacement would £200 more ..I thought this was very inconsiderate and cheeky. But the service went well .and the team at the crematorium where highly professional and kind Excellent work .It was a wonderful service and uncle Laurence would have been pleased.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Laya for her efficiency, responsiveness and professionalism during what was a very time sensitive situation. At extremely short notice, we needed to arrange the collection of the urn, and there was also a last-minute change regarding who would be collecting it. Laya handled everything immediately and without hesitation. She coordinated seamlessly with the crematorium, ensured the necessary paperwork was completed correctly, and kept us informed throughout so that the process could move forward as quickly as possible. What could have become stressful and complicated was made straightforward because of her speedy, calm, organised and proactive approach. She clearly understood the importance of timing and treated the situation with both urgency and sensitivity. Her communication was clear and reassuring, and she made sure that nothing was overlooked. We truly appreciated how smoothly she managed everything behind the scenes to ensure it all happened as soon as possible. Thank you, Laya, for your efficiency, kindness and support at a moment when it really mattered.”

“I wanted to write a review for our funeral conductor arranged by in memory of life funeral directors as part of our funeral package. Donna was quite simply exceptional, and we will never forget the care she showed our family on the day of the funeral. From the moment we arrived, Donna was a calm, reassuring presence that immediately eased the weight of the day. She was kind, warm and deeply professional, but what stood out most was her humanity and attentiveness to every single person involved. Her interaction with our wheelchair using family member was particularly moving. Lisa spoke to her directly, with genuine respect and compassion, taking the time to ensure she was comfortable, understood what was happening and felt included. That level of thoughtfulness meant more to us than words can express. Donna quietly took on all of the difficult, practical responsibility so that we didn't have to. She managed timings, gently ushered people when needed, and handled everything that could have added pressure or stress, allowing us to remain fully present in the moment. She helped with laying out the order of service booklets, ensured the seating was arranged exactly as needed, and even invited me in first so I could see that everything was right: a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture. Donna explained everything clearly and calmly, keeping us fully informed at each stage. Nothing was overlooked, no detail too small. The entire service ran seamlessly because of her care, preparation and quiet competence. Thanks to Donna the ceremony unfolded with dignity, grace and calm. She carried out her role with such empathy and professionalism that it felt as though she was personally invested in making the day as gentle as possible for us. Words really cannot do justice to how good she was. We are profoundly grateful to Donna for her kindness, respect and unwavering support on one of the hardest days of our lives.”

“From the very beginning Tali and Harriet were amazing. They litrally took the stress and strain away from me. Ive never planned a funeral before and was dreading it. I would 1000000 % recommend "in memory of life" They were always in communication from the smallest of information to the biggest. No pressure was ever put on me. They went at my pace. On the day Alex was absolutely great, again leading the way with information and what to do..Thanks to everyone who made the day smooth sailing and stress free. “From the start I felt I was in 'safe hands'. Tali made the entire process smooth for me - as I was doing this on my own. Things I had not thought of - Tali brought it to my attention. On the day of the funeral the Conductor and his team were the epitome of professionalism. We all felt at ease during my mother-in-law's final journey. “Harriett, Nick, Emma and everyone involved at In Memory of Life, I just want to say thank you so much for your patience, kindness and unwavering support during such a difficult time. I am truly so grateful that I chose In Memory of Life. From start to finish, the whole process couldn’t have gone any better, and that is entirely down to the care and compassion you showed me. I know it wasn’t always easy getting through to me, but you never once made me feel judged or rushed. Instead, you remained gentle, understanding and soft with me, and that meant more than I can put into words. Harriett talked me through every step of the process and continuously offered me different options, making sure I felt comfortable and informed at all times. I never felt pressured into any decisions and was constantly reassured throughout. That level of care is something I will always appreciate. “I recently entrusted In Memory of Life Funeral Directors with the arrangements for my Mum’s funeral, and I cannot thank them enough for the care, compassion, and professionalism they showed throughout such a difficult time. From the very first conversation, they treated me with kindness and understanding, guiding me through every step and making what felt overwhelming much easier to manage. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with sensitivity and respect. The service itself was beautiful and a truly fitting tribute to my Mum’s life. Everything ran smoothly, and it was clear how much thought and effort had gone into making the day special for our family. I’d like to also include the celebrant Ruth - she was amazing, so warm and considerate, especially when dealing with me and both my children wanting to take part in their nanny’s service. Especially when she visited us and they just kept talking over each other! At such a sad time, it meant so much to have such dedicated and supportive people helping us. I would wholeheartedly recommend In Memory of Life Funeral Directors to anyone looking for a caring and professional service. Thank you for giving my Mum the dignified and heartfelt farewell she deserved.”

“there are truly not enough words to thank Emma for everything she did for our family. From the very first conversation, Emma treated us with such warmth, gentleness and genuine empathy that we immediately felt we were in safe hands. At one of the most painful and overwhelming times of our lives, she became a steady, reassuring presence : calm, compassionate and endlessly patient. Emma handled every aspect of the arrangements with exceptional professionalism and care. The paperwork alone would have been daunting to us, but she guided us through each process step-by-step, explaining everything clearly and making sure nothing was missed. No question was ever too small or too repetitive: she always took the time to answer thoroughly or find out additional information if needed. Her communication was outstanding throughout. We were never left wondering what's happening. Emma kept us updated at every stage, ensuring we were fully aware of timelines, options and next steps. She was always accessible, always responsive, and always kind. What meant so much to us was her flexibility and sensitivity to the dynamicswithin our family. She navigated difficult conversations with quiet diplomacy andgrace, ensuring everyone felt heard, while keeping the arrangements moving forward smoothly. She was also incredibly mindful and considerate of our disabled family member, making thoughtful adjustments so that everyone could participate comfortably and with dignity. On the day itself, everything was coordinated seamlessly; Emma insured that every detail was handled with respect and precision, allowing us to focus entirely on remembering our loved one. It was clear that she approached her role not simply as a job, but as a vocation grounded in humanity. We are also deeply appreciative of her transparency around costs. “In Memory of Life supported me through my father’s funeral with exceptional care, professionalism, and compassion. As his son, this was an incredibly difficult time, and they guided me through everything with calm reassurance and genuine understanding. They handled the service with dignity and attention to detail, giving my father the respectful send-off he deserved. They also recommended Viv as the celebrant, and she was outstanding, delivering the service with warmth, sensitivity, and great respect. I would recommend In Memory of Life without hesitation to anyone wanting their loved one cared for with true compassion and professionalism.”

“I could not be happier with the treatment I received from In Memory of Life from start to finish in making arrangements for my father's funeral. Nick followed up with me when I first looked at his website and kept in touch to see how I was getting on and gave me useful advice and information. No other firm that I looked into did this. Once I was ready to proceed, he handed me over to his colleague, Holly. She was equally impressive. Their care and attention to detail was outstanding. All my queries and emails were quickly and efficiently dealt with. They put me in touch with Father Rory, who conducted the service, and he was so kind, sympathetic and gentle. The service was great, with my chosen photograph on display and the playing of my music selection at the right time. The coffin bearers, led by Alex, were equally impressive. They were so immaculate and professional. The hearse and coffin were high quality. We could not have asked for more. We are so grateful. “From the start to the end of the process, the team were absolutely perfect. Very sympathetic as you would expect, but nothing was too much trouble to enquire about & co-ordinate on my behalf. I couldn't fault the team, they helped provide the best send off for my mum that I could have asked for. Thanks again.”
