“I am so very grateful to the whole team at In Memory of Life for how they handled my Father's cremation - with respect, kindness, gentleness, dignity and professionalism. From the friendly, clear and helpful emails to the actual service itself - every step was personalised and done in a very very caring way. “I can't recommend this company more. From first contact until my fathers funeral I couldn't have asked for a better service. I had to organise the funeral, which was held in London., from home in Scotland and imagined the process would be far more difficult than it was. On the day, Craig and his team went over and above to ensure everything went smoothly. Thank you all for a first class service. Would highly recommend.”

“It had been more than three years since Jennie's death, and so the organisation and coordination needed to make sure everything happened exactly as it should was not straightforward. However, the Memory of Life team, and especially Laya, worked with care and sensitivity to make sure everything went smoothly. The service was perfect and just as Jennie would have wished.”

“We were unsure at first as had never heard of the company before, but May was absolutely brilliant. She ensured our every need was taken into consideration. She was there whenever we called to answer whatever query or changes we threw at her, she was very helpful and patient. Thank you very much May. On the day of the funeral, both the conductor and driver were extremely helpful. They ensured we got there on time and that everything ran smoothly. We highly reccomed In Memory of Life.”

“After speaking with a few places to get quotes, I called In Memory of Life. Nick immediately put me at ease and his manner and knowledge made the decision very easy for me. The cost was a little more than places like Co-op but peace of mind was more important to me. Tali was my contact for the arrangements for my dear Mother and she was brilliant. Donna was my conductor, she was fabulous. When I broke and couldn't function, she absolutely took control and made everything go so smoothly. The Pall Bearers were lovely and professional. And even the person who greeted me at the chapel of rest for a pre service viewing was very respectful. Everyone I encountered from this company were amazing humans and they listened to what I wanted. My Mother was prepared beautifully, exactly how I had specified, without too much make-up, just a natural pretty look. I felt she was in safe hands once they got her from the hospital. They sent a courier to collect her outfit so I didn't even have to drop them off. If you want a personalised, respectful and professional service for your loved one, I highly recommend this company. I had no idea what I was doing and they walked me through everything and told me things I had not known needed to be done. Thank you all at In Memory of Life, you put my Mother to rest in a manner that was beautiful and dignified and I know she would have been happy that you were who I chose to take care of her. Much gratitude to you all.”

“This very private ceremony was warm and dignified. We were just the immediate family and it felt very special. The service was short but really reflected the essence of my husband and the children’s Dad. The gratitude for his donation was reiterated, that was so appreciated by us. “In loving memory of Arthur C. My dad chose to donate his body to science, a decision that truly reflected the kind and caring man he was. He had such a lovely heart and would help anyone, always putting others before himself. Even after his passing, he continued to give, helping to train future doctors and make a difference. As a family, we are so proud of him and the legacy he has left behind. We are truly grateful to London Anatomy for treating him with such dignity and respect, and to In Memory of Life Funeral Directors for their kindness, care, and support throughout, they gone above and beyond - Thankyou to laya and the team. “My darling wife's funeral ran very smoothly thank you. The organisation and professionalism of every person involved was exemplary. Communication skills were first class. Reverend David led the committal service with kindness and thorough attention to detail. The Funeral Director was most courteous and very clear and helpful with her instructions and explanations. The dignity and respect offered to us all was just the best. Everybody did Jo proud. We as a family found some closure after Jo's two and a half years of being a 'Silent Teacher' I could not be prouder of Jo, she is the Love of my Life. The last thing I expected at this stage of our life together was to be writing a review of her funeral service. But it is what it is, and I cannot recommend In Memory Of Life more highly enough. My thanks to each and every one of you.”

“Whilst acting on behalf of The London Anatomical School conducting the service for my father the 'In Memory of Life' staff were extremely respectful, dignified and efficient. The communication from both Laya at the Body Donation Team and Andrew, the chaplain conducting the short service, was excellent. They took care of all the arrangements resulting in the smooth running on the day. Would highly recommend.”

“Everyone I spoke to was incredibly helpful whilst organising the funeral service and the pall bearers were very supportive on the day. There was a slight hiccup a few days later when a service of remembrance was held but this was dealt with quickly and effectively. I would definitely recommend this Company.”

“Excellent service by the hole team .but at last minute .the message that you did not have the coffin I ordered and the replacement would £200 more ..I thought this was very inconsiderate and cheeky. But the service went well .and the team at the crematorium where highly professional and kind Excellent work .It was a wonderful service and uncle Laurence would have been pleased.”

“We are incredibly grateful to Laya for her efficiency, responsiveness and professionalism during what was a very time sensitive situation. At extremely short notice, we needed to arrange the collection of the urn, and there was also a last-minute change regarding who would be collecting it. Laya handled everything immediately and without hesitation. She coordinated seamlessly with the crematorium, ensured the necessary paperwork was completed correctly, and kept us informed throughout so that the process could move forward as quickly as possible. What could have become stressful and complicated was made straightforward because of her speedy, calm, organised and proactive approach. She clearly understood the importance of timing and treated the situation with both urgency and sensitivity. Her communication was clear and reassuring, and she made sure that nothing was overlooked. We truly appreciated how smoothly she managed everything behind the scenes to ensure it all happened as soon as possible. Thank you, Laya, for your efficiency, kindness and support at a moment when it really mattered.”

“I wanted to write a review for our funeral conductor arranged by in memory of life funeral directors as part of our funeral package. Donna was quite simply exceptional, and we will never forget the care she showed our family on the day of the funeral. From the moment we arrived, Donna was a calm, reassuring presence that immediately eased the weight of the day. She was kind, warm and deeply professional, but what stood out most was her humanity and attentiveness to every single person involved. Her interaction with our wheelchair using family member was particularly moving. Lisa spoke to her directly, with genuine respect and compassion, taking the time to ensure she was comfortable, understood what was happening and felt included. That level of thoughtfulness meant more to us than words can express. Donna quietly took on all of the difficult, practical responsibility so that we didn't have to. She managed timings, gently ushered people when needed, and handled everything that could have added pressure or stress, allowing us to remain fully present in the moment. She helped with laying out the order of service booklets, ensured the seating was arranged exactly as needed, and even invited me in first so I could see that everything was right: a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture. Donna explained everything clearly and calmly, keeping us fully informed at each stage. Nothing was overlooked, no detail too small. The entire service ran seamlessly because of her care, preparation and quiet competence. Thanks to Donna the ceremony unfolded with dignity, grace and calm. She carried out her role with such empathy and professionalism that it felt as though she was personally invested in making the day as gentle as possible for us. Words really cannot do justice to how good she was. We are profoundly grateful to Donna for her kindness, respect and unwavering support on one of the hardest days of our lives.”

“From the very beginning Tali and Harriet were amazing. They litrally took the stress and strain away from me. Ive never planned a funeral before and was dreading it. I would 1000000 % recommend "in memory of life" They were always in communication from the smallest of information to the biggest. No pressure was ever put on me. They went at my pace. On the day Alex was absolutely great, again leading the way with information and what to do..Thanks to everyone who made the day smooth sailing and stress free.
