“I am so very grateful to the whole team at In Memory of Life for how they handled my Father's cremation - with respect, kindness, gentleness, dignity and professionalism. From the friendly, clear and helpful emails to the actual service itself - every step was personalised and done in a very very caring way. Although I hope I never have to go through this again, if I do, I would certainly choose In Memory of Life to help me with it.”

“The service and organisation were great, and the Officiant (Robin) delivered exceptionally. If it was any other business I'd be happy to say I'd look forward to working with them again - but as that would most likely be me, I'm hoping that won't be soon.”

“The whole process with the Memory in Life Team was smooth and organised. At a difficult time, the clear process and communication made things that little bit easier. Particular thanks to the celebrant, Denzil, who I will always be grateful to for genuinely listening and helping hugely with a decision I was struggling to make. Denzil and the funeral director were so professional and kind on the day. It was a small personal service but the team conducted it with as much care and attention as might be expected for a much larger service. The service is something that I will always remember and the way it was conducted made the experience and memory a positive one. Thank you to the whole team.”

“The impeccable service started right at the beginning when l first picked up the phone to you about some questions l wanted to ask, you made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and if l had forgotten anything just telephone and it will all be ok. When l met Robin at the Crematorium he had a presence of calm and a voice to match he spoke my words so heavily and made the service perfect. Last but far from least was the main Lady pallbearer she too was so lovely and put us all at ease, im so sorry to have forgotten her name but her gestures will remain in mine and my brothers hearts forever, she asked if we would like to carry the coffin into the chapel something we would of had never thought of if she hadn't mentioned it and will remain one of the most honourable and precious moments of our lives forever. Thank you also to everyone behind the scenes and then theres just one more person to thank, The driver who escorted my mums ashes to me as he passed her over l said "Hello mum" and the driver said you can have a cuppa and a chat now and thats exactly what l did, he was the icing on the cake of many layers that go into such a perfect funeral service as yours.”

“I honestly feel I struck gold with In Memory of Life! From start to finish I received 7* treatment with just the right amount of sympathy, efficiency with nothing too much trouble! The family run firm made everything so personal and, strange as it may sound, I shall miss my often daily calls with Talli. Alex who took charge of the funeral on the day was fantastic too.”

“In Memory of life were incredibly supportive during a difficult time, working with us closely to plan the funeral of our loved one. They were very accomodative even when I had to make last minute changes to our funeral booklet. All the team that were working with us were very relaible, respectful, patient and efficient - especially Megan. I am very grateful to In Memory of Life and would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“In Memory handled the funeral of our late mother a few years ago, and they were faultless in their professionalism, empathy, communication and organisation - it made a very sad time a lot easier to deal with. When our father passed away nearly three years later, we didn't hesitate to contact In Memory again. And we found the same helpful, professional and caring service from them once again. Communication was always swift and all the staff we spoke to and met were kind and courteous. The Memorial page made it easy to communicate the funeral and wake details to attendees, as well as paying tribute with photos and people's memories. In addition, having a recording of the funeral service, as well as the live webcast, a really lovely thing to have. I would not hesitate to recommend In Memory to anyone having to go through such a sad and difficult time.”

“I had the difficult task of planning my husband’s funeral after his sudden passing. I had never had to plan a funeral before and didn’t know where to start. I initially found In Memory of Life via google and liked that I could browse their website which gave me some idea of what I needed to do and the cost. I dealt with Megan, who was amazing and helped me the whole way through filling any gaps and guiding me where necessary. She arranged a celebrant, Phillipa, who was also amazing. Through the most difficult and emotional time of my life, they made it as straightforward as possible. We ended up with a beautiful private and personal family funeral for my dear hubby. I would also like to add that I chose a red rose and ivy heart wreath for his coffin (via the website) and it was absolutely beautiful, I was so so pleased with it. I hope I don’t have to use their services for some time but if I was to find myself in that situation, I would have no hesitation in using In Memory of Life again, I would 100% recommend them. “Absolutely delighted with the service and personal care, these lovely people delivered to our family. From my first phone call with Nick, Harriet, followed on with May, who was amazing, thank you. Nothing was ever too much trouble, giving advice and letting us know every step of the way what to do. Thank you May. On the day of the funeral, Donna who was conducting the funeral, was fantastic, what a lovely lady! Guests and family members, were so impressed with her professionalism and kindness. Thank you so much Donna. We Could not have ever wished for better. We can honesty say, the day and whole process was perfect! “I lost me husband at 53 to suicide and I had no idea what I needed to do. When I came across In Memory of Life something just clicked and it felt right. I am not the most decisive person in the world and Emma was absolutely amazing, she was patient and was happy to discuss anything at any point. The day went seemlessly and that is all down to In Memory of Life. I would like to thank you all for making a terrible day such a perfect one.”

“We felt proud of our mother, because she donated her body to medical education. This meant that we did not have a coffin at her Memorial Service. But later on, we were glad that a cremation service was organised at Croydon Crematorium, and two family members were able to attend that. The priest at the Crematorium, and the Funeral Directors, were absolutely marvellous. It was a peaceful and respectful end to our mother's physical presence here.”

“My sister and I did look at three companies and In memory of life were the most personable. We spoke to Nick who at the time we didn’t know he was a director of the company, Nick was so pleasant and kind and we spoke for about an hour on the phone with no obligation and we decided to go with that company because of Nick’s initial conversation. So the next stage is the person who is going to dealing with the funeral arrangements and we had Emma who was fantastic, Emma was so contactable and helpful and efficient. Every step of the way was dealt with ease and sensitivity, of course there will be added costs and Emma explained the additional costs when needed and also suggested other things to reduce costs if needed. It is never easy to deal with funerals and I have to say that my experience with in memory of life has been excellent. Everything went smoothly and just thanks to the whole team thank you especially to Nick, Emma, Alex and Paul who drove us to the crem and amazing thanks to Lucy Fergusson Celebrant (recommended by in memory of life) and also to whoever decided to put the photos of the spitfire at the crematorium placard's, that was unexpected and extremely loved by us all at the service. Thank you to all the team who were involved in my dads funeral service. Dry happy to totally recommend your company. Thank you x”

“We sadly said goodbye to our lovely mum.30/6/26 The service we received was excellent Laya and her team were so professional. We didn't know what to expect as we are from West Sussex. So not local everything was flawless the music the flowers. A special mention to Donna who after the funeral showed us the special plaque in the grounds and was so friendly after a difficult time. Thank you for making this special as a family it meant a lot to us.”

“With the recent passing of my nan, I found myself in unfamiliar territory of organising her funeral. I didn’t know where to start or what to do. Then I found in memory of life, and in the worst moment of my life they gave me so much support and helped me with the whole process. They don’t have a “normal” office but I actually found that better as they were on hand all the time through WhatsApp and phone calls. They always checked in to see how I was doing even though that wasn’t part of the job. Rebecca went above and beyond to help create the most beautiful order of service booklets for me. They give you a task manager online which gives you an itenary of all the stuff you need to complete and once done you can check it off, and this made the whole process so much smoother. When it come to the day of the funeral Kieran was on hand and professional and very caring and helped with everything. The officiant Richard wiseman led the service beautifully and the day went as perfect as I could have imagined. I cannot fault in memory of life at all, they really was so supportive and every team member was always there when I had any questions and I cannot thank them enough again for helping me x”
