“I am so very grateful to the whole team at In Memory of Life for how they handled my Father's cremation - with respect, kindness, gentleness, dignity and professionalism. From the friendly, clear and helpful emails to the actual service itself - every step was personalised and done in a very very caring way. Although I hope I never have to go through this again, if I do, I would certainly choose In Memory of Life to help me with it.”

“I had the difficult task of planning my husband’s funeral after his sudden passing. I had never had to plan a funeral before and didn’t know where to start. I initially found In Memory of Life via google and liked that I could browse their website which gave me some idea of what I needed to do and the cost. I dealt with Megan, who was amazing and helped me the whole way through filling any gaps and guiding me where necessary. She arranged a celebrant, Phillipa, who was also amazing. Through the most difficult and emotional time of my life, they made it as straightforward as possible. We ended up with a beautiful private and personal family funeral for my dear hubby. I would also like to add that I chose a red rose and ivy heart wreath for his coffin (via the website) and it was absolutely beautiful, I was so so pleased with it. I hope I don’t have to use their services for some time but if I was to find myself in that situation, I would have no hesitation in using In Memory of Life again, I would 100% recommend them. “Absolutely delighted with the service and personal care, these lovely people delivered to our family. From my first phone call with Nick, Harriet, followed on with May, who was amazing, thank you. Nothing was ever too much trouble, giving advice and letting us know every step of the way what to do. Thank you May. On the day of the funeral, Donna who was conducting the funeral, was fantastic, what a lovely lady! Guests and family members, were so impressed with her professionalism and kindness. Thank you so much Donna. We Could not have ever wished for better. We can honesty say, the day and whole process was perfect! “I lost me husband at 53 to suicide and I had no idea what I needed to do. When I came across In Memory of Life something just clicked and it felt right. I am not the most decisive person in the world and Emma was absolutely amazing, she was patient and was happy to discuss anything at any point. The day went seemlessly and that is all down to In Memory of Life. I would like to thank you all for making a terrible day such a perfect one.”

“We felt proud of our mother, because she donated her body to medical education. This meant that we did not have a coffin at her Memorial Service. But later on, we were glad that a cremation service was organised at Croydon Crematorium, and two family members were able to attend that. The priest at the Crematorium, and the Funeral Directors, were absolutely marvellous. It was a peaceful and respectful end to our mother's physical presence here.”

“My sister and I did look at three companies and In memory of life were the most personable. We spoke to Nick who at the time we didn’t know he was a director of the company, Nick was so pleasant and kind and we spoke for about an hour on the phone with no obligation and we decided to go with that company because of Nick’s initial conversation. So the next stage is the person who is going to dealing with the funeral arrangements and we had Emma who was fantastic, Emma was so contactable and helpful and efficient. Every step of the way was dealt with ease and sensitivity, of course there will be added costs and Emma explained the additional costs when needed and also suggested other things to reduce costs if needed. It is never easy to deal with funerals and I have to say that my experience with in memory of life has been excellent. Everything went smoothly and just thanks to the whole team thank you especially to Nick, Emma, Alex and Paul who drove us to the crem and amazing thanks to Lucy Fergusson Celebrant (recommended by in memory of life) and also to whoever decided to put the photos of the spitfire at the crematorium placard's, that was unexpected and extremely loved by us all at the service. Thank you to all the team who were involved in my dads funeral service. Dry happy to totally recommend your company. Thank you x”

“We sadly said goodbye to our lovely mum.30/6/26 The service we received was excellent Laya and her team were so professional. We didn't know what to expect as we are from West Sussex. So not local everything was flawless the music the flowers. A special mention to Donna who after the funeral showed us the special plaque in the grounds and was so friendly after a difficult time. Thank you for making this special as a family it meant a lot to us.”

“With the recent passing of my nan, I found myself in unfamiliar territory of organising her funeral. I didn’t know where to start or what to do. Then I found in memory of life, and in the worst moment of my life they gave me so much support and helped me with the whole process. They don’t have a “normal” office but I actually found that better as they were on hand all the time through WhatsApp and phone calls. They always checked in to see how I was doing even though that wasn’t part of the job. Rebecca went above and beyond to help create the most beautiful order of service booklets for me. They give you a task manager online which gives you an itenary of all the stuff you need to complete and once done you can check it off, and this made the whole process so much smoother. When it come to the day of the funeral Kieran was on hand and professional and very caring and helped with everything. The officiant Richard wiseman led the service beautifully and the day went as perfect as I could have imagined. I cannot fault in memory of life at all, they really was so supportive and every team member was always there when I had any questions and I cannot thank them enough again for helping me x”

“From the first phone call with Nick to arrange the funeral and then throughout the arrangements with the continued excellent support of May the whole experience was reassuring and flawless with great attention to detail. This made the experience of losing a loved one and making the funeral arrangements much easier to deal with. The day itself was expertly and compassionately handled with the upmost professionalism. I was able to give my mum a beautiful befitting burial and the team at In Memory of Life played a big part in making sure the day went as planned. Thank you for your professionalism, genuine care and patience. From the point of initial enquiry, Nick was informative, sensitive and extremely helpful. Tali was our funeral coordinator and she was absolutely amazing and coordinated everything perfectly which took a massive weight off my shoulders. Communication was brilliant. “The send off for my dear friend was so beautiful. The team were so diligent, calm, conscious and supported us throughout. The funeral was in Epping forest and was just a stunning venue! “In memory of life we’re amazing. The whole process was very smooth thanks to their professionalism. The staff were lovely, very calm and caring. They immediately set up a WhatsApp group and I could message with any questions at anytime. They are very helpful and would often phone too with that personal touch. On the day of the funeral they were lovely and respectful at all times. I would definitely recommend.”

“We found memory of life to be a warm and caring service ,They took their time to explain the steps and options in a patient and empathetic manner . “I cannot thank the whole In Memory of Life Team, and Emma in particular, for the care and support that they provided to me in relation to my husband's funeral. The Team Members were always available to deal with my queries and were very patient, reassuring and respectful as they guided me through the funeral process. Maria at the Chapel of Rest was very caring and kind, and Ruth-the Celebrant, and Donna - the Florist, who were introduced to me by the Team provided excellent services. Overall a very professional service, with fair pricing and clear communication throughout.”
