I went to purchase a gas cylinder from you to find that the price had risen. Yet gas prices had come down, and petrol and diesel had fallen ! So the price should have stayed the same or less. I bought the gas only to receive an email a week later stating a price cut. I ordered another bottle of gas and checked my account and you hadn't taken any money, so being fair and honest i paid for both bottles. The delivery turned up with no notice which is crazy if i wasn't in it would have been a wasted journey. Now I don't have a problem with the driver and you could say why only one star !!! Well i would have given a lot more but you sent me an email stating how you want your customers to treat your staff professionally and zero tolerance to abuse and on and on. I wasn't in anyway abusive to your staff and maybe it was sent to the wrong email address so that is the reason for 1 star.

Hi James, Thank you for your feedback surrounding your recent delivery and your experience with innergy. The price of natural gas increased significantly last year and has since reduced in price. The price of natural gas often increased by hundreds of percent last year to both domestic and commercial customers. However, whilst the price of LPG has increased since your last order, it has only increased by a fairly small amount compared to the natural gas alternative. As such, we are unlikely to see the same reductions in the price of LPG compared to natural gas as the price of LPG has remained fairly stable. Further, the on-going conflict in Eastern Europe has caused shortages of LPG and has contributed to the recent energy crisis. We have been able to use our scale and leverage to continue to source LPG cylinders at competitive prices which has enabled us to supply our customers at stable prices throughout this challenging period. The emergency LPG temporary surcharge which previously was in place has now been removed from all our cylinders. With regards to your recent bottled gas delivery, we can only apologise that the delivery was made without the depot notifying you and we apologise if this caused you any inconvenience. When we receive customer orders, we ask our customers their preferred day for delivery however, if and when we have to reschedule the delivery for any reason, the Depot Manager should call you to notify you. Last week our Commercial Director shared an email with all of our customers regarding our internal dignity at work policy and our company wide core values. Our company values which include passion, respect, inclusivity and curiosity are values that we massively pride ourselves on. We felt that this is something we wanted to communicate with our customers. Please be assured that this email was in no way directed to yourself. We hope that this may make you consider revising your review and rating us 1 star as we pride ourselves on providing a customer delight service to each and every customer. We never get the gas delivered when they say it will be delivered. We have an outstanding order that should have been delivered last Tuesday 24th Jan, still no sign of it!!! Very annoying, this happens with most of our orders, if the order doesn't come soon we will run out completely!!!

Hi Mrs Allsop-Inglis, Firstly please accept our sincere apologies for the time it has taken to respond. We take matters such as this very seriously and our Head of Operations has been investigating this with the team in York. Mark our Depot Manager in York advised that when the initial order was placed on 18th January, he advised that the delivery would be made on 24th January, at this time Mark was not aware that your account was on stop, our accounts team contacted you for payment to be made. Once payment had been made - Mark was informed. We can only apologise that he had then forgotten to arrange for your delivery to go out. Your order was rescheduled for 26th January unfortunately the driver ran out of time to deliver, the order was rescheduled for the next day and the driver ran out of time again. Delivery was finally made on 31st January, thankfully you had not completely run out supply and we were able to switch over your gas bottles. This has been a series of unfortunate events, we can only apologise again and we will assure you that this won’t happen again. Kind regards, The innergy Team

Reading all the reviews about excellent customer service, I would agree it is when I speak to anyone on the phone: but, when it comes down to getting any delivery, it’s dreadful. We ring and are constantly told the delivery will be whatever day, they don’t deliver on the day so we then ring & are then told ‘apologies blah blah’ lack of drivers, but they have our number, could they not phone. This hasn’t happened once or twice, it seems to happen every time.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I have looked into this further and I have spoken to the York depot, I have since then been in contact with yourself to confirm day of delivery. I am really sorry that you didn’t receive the delivery on the date you were advised and that you had no phone call to confirm this. This is not our usual practice. I have made sure our York branch are aware that this has happened before and they have assured me that it won't happen again. We have faced a lot of shortages with our drivers in the last couple of weeks and I apologise your order is taking longer than our usual delivery times. Please accept my sincere apology and I will make sure this doesn’t happen again. All the best, Beth

Product completely unusable. There is rubber showing jammed in the valve that I’ve never seen before. Tried to connect it to a barbecue and a patio heater and gas leaks (you can hear and smell it). Clearly no quality/safety checks before sending out!

Good Afternoon Richard, Please accept our sincere apologies. We have taken a close look at the image you kindly provided us with and we can see that the regulator is faulty not the actual bottle. Poor customer service: Dates given for delivery not adhered to, left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing: though driver was always pleasant & helpful.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We have looked in to this for you at our York depot. Your gas delivery was out on the day specified however unfortunately the driver ran out of time to be able to deliver that same day. When our York Depot Manager rescheduled your job he should have informed you by telephone and we can only apologise that he didn't inform you. Terrible Company I have been totally hassled and threatened over an alleged delivery of nearly a Year ago with absolutely no proof there is no reason for this behaviour. No signatures or proof of delivery disgusting.

Dear Ms B, We are sorry that you feel that we have not reached our usual excellent standards. We feel that it is important to clarify our understanding of how we have reached the current position. On the 5th November 2019 we delivered a 47kg cylinder that you had ordered. You had pre-paid for this cylinder on credit card. On the 2nd December 2019 we delivered a second 47kg cylinder that you had ordered and collected the empty original cylinder. When you placed your second order you requested a credit account to give you time to pay. We agreed to this as we always aim to support our customers. On the 16th January we collected this cylinder, at your request, as you stated that you no longer required it. We explained that we would be unable to issue a credit for this cylinder as during the six weeks that it had been in your possession a significant amount of the gas had been consumed. Initially you claimed that you had paid for this second cylinder via your credit card. We couldn’t find a record of this payment so we kindly asked if you could provide us with a bank statement to confirm. You claimed that you couldn’t do this. You then refused to pay for this cylinder as you claimed that we had not delivered it and that we couldn’t provide a proof of delivery. We provided you with proof of delivery by email, six times. You claimed that you couldn’t open the attachment so we provided you with proof by recorded post. Twice. You have also requested a credit for the virtually empty cylinder that we collected. The one that you claimed that we didn’t deliver. If you would like any further information from us – proof of delivery, copies of polite letters and telephone recordings of your conversations - we are happy to provide these, again.
