“We were looking for a bespoke illuminated house number and name sign, with a matching non-illuminated house number. After a few email communications considering design and fitting requirements we agreed the artwork provided and ordered the signs. Delivery was within the quoted timescales. Packaging is excellent (never seen better) and the very accurate cardboard fixing templates and fitting instructions make the installation very simple - line-up and level the template; drill the holes through the templete; fit the mountings; offer-up and press the sign into place. The wiring for the illuminated sign is very much 'plug-and-play' and was connected very easily. These signs have been designed by individuals who have an engineering background and an artistic flair. Our overall impression is that Housenumbers Limited aim to provide an excellent service and they are proud of what they do. Now that makes them stand out from the majority! We would fully recommend if you want good communications, good advice and good quality.”

“I was very impressed starting with the swift receipt of my required numbers. They were individually wrapped in tissue paper to avoid abrasion or other damage. They have come with a template to show where holes need to be drilled which was a lovely surprise I have painted my garden wall and await them being fixed by my builders still finishing jobs. Looking forward to people seeing what number we are instead of walking up and down outside!”

Hi Robert, thank you for your review. We would like to apologise if there was no fixing instructions included in your order. When customers get in touch to let us know somthing is missing, we rectify this straight away. This is very unusual for them to be missing. In regards to the fixings, they are designed to be "hidden fixings" therefore would not need any bolts or other componants. I appreciate not having the instructions, this may not have been very clear.

“I bought a SS lit sign just 2 years ago. Looks beautiful and very well made! But the LED loom has packed up already! Very disappointed. Rang Housenumbers and they were very polite, understanding and courteous. But I had to pay for the new LED setup as the warranty is only 12 moths. The bad surprise when the LED set up arrived was that I had to assemble it myself. It looks time consuming and not client friendly to setup. So all in all, nice SS product but very unfortunate about the LED packing up just 2 years later and the hasle to replace and install.”

Thank you for your review, a few things that we wish to address with our reply here for potential customers reading this negative review. The sign that you originally purchased was 3 years old not 2, and indeed out of warranty. The average life span of our LEDs is 5-7 years, comparable to most LED products on the market, and although of course we appreciate that 3 years is shorter than expected, as with any 'light bulb' type product, sometimes they do fail sooner than others. We like to advise customers to think of it like putting 6 new spotlights into a kitchen ceiling, often you have to replace one before the rest. As part of our sustainability promise we offer a replacement LED service, the product this customer purchased was a 'change your LED lights at home kit', and the process was explained prior to sending that you would need to remove the sign from the wall to add the new lights on the back. While we appreciate this is a fiddly process, the cost of new LED lights (£18) is far lower than replacing a whole sign. We consider this a unique selling point of our signs compared to our competitors - if the LED lights fail you won't need to replace the whole sign, just the LED lights for low cost with a little time and effort. We are sorry that you found this process particularly difficult, and as our instruction sheets say we are always on hand to support over the phone or email with any part of the installation process.

“The quality of the goods were very good and would highly recommend. Just be aware it says 24hr delivery but it take around 3days to dispatch before it on a 24hr delivery. Will be looking at purchasing more items.”

“I bought a single numeral. The number came with a scored cut/fold but however the number came away and I have had to tape it at the back to keep it together. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with the number.”
