“fantastic communication, good price, and fantastic report. i made a net profit of £4000 after the report allowed us to negotiate down on the property purchase. It has also now means we know what work we need to do when we move in, and how much it should cost.”

“The whole Home Approved team did a great job: from the first inquiry to dealing with follow up questions after the survey, responses were always swift, professional and very friendly. “Thorough and comprehensive report supplied. Can take up to a fortnight for the survey to take place so not for those in a hurry. We asked to be put on a cancellation list and managed to have the survey a few days before it was due.”

“I will highly recommend Home -approved mainly because of their amazing customer service and brilliant survey report. I have used various surveyors in the past but since I have come across Home-approved I have not looked elsewhere. I saw their advert on Metro newspaper in 2012 and decided to give them a call. I have used them since then, The report is so easy and simple to understand with approximate costs listed if any issues found and the best part is they include loads of pictures. They also allow you to speak to the surveyor if needed something which I have done once and Matthew was brilliant on the phone to answer my queries. I have always asked for Jill Sutcliffe and till date the service has been outstanding. Keep up the good work. Regards Steve Dias, Croydon.”

“Matthew is the best person we've dealt with in our property transaction!. Pros: * Quick- we booked a roof survey then buildings survey and both times the property was inspected within a week and a thorough yet concise report issued the next day. * Detail- including photos, priority of the issue and estimated costs of repair- our second report was over 40 pages including pictures yet it was very concise, included the priority of the issue, recommendations and costs of resolution. * He answers your questions- we asked him to look at specific things which he specifically addressed in the report in addition to the many other things he checked. He was also available for follow up questions even after the report was produced. BRILLIANT!”

“We found the service to be extremely responsive to our timescale needs. The survey was not only initiated quickly, but we liked the telephone feedback on the day it was held. The subsequent emailed full report we especially liked, as it was not just thorough in scope, but backed up with photographs that aided our recall and understanding of the various items reported on. Furthermore, we liked the way that the issues identified were prioritised on a four point scale of seriousness, together with an estimated cost of repair for each item. This proved most helpful in negotiations with the sellers!”

“Warm and friendly as well as quick and efficient to organise our survey and to provide the final report which was very detailed. We really appreciated being able to meet Matthew to chat things through at the end of the survey. As a result we were confident to discuss factors for potential renegotiation with the seller and did successfully agree a slight reduction in purchase price. Thanks.”

“I booked home approved to carry out a survey of damage to a bathroom to identify who was at fault. I was very impressed with the quality and detail of the report provided. I am sure this will enable the insurance claim process to proceed smoothly.”

“The survey was clear, in-depth and easy to read. The photographs were helpful in supporting the information. Where there were links for advice it was appreciated. To improve the service a list of useful traders locally would have been helpful.”

We do provide information at the end of our reports giving advice on where to find reputable tradesmen, eg, Checkatrade and the Trustmark Scheme. We are also more than happy to review any quotations or reports that you receive and offer further advice.

“We received a clear and detailed survey report on the flat we bought. When subsequently a problem occurred (which could not have been found in the initial survey) Matthew came round, inspected it, and produced an excellent report which led to our being able to claim from the NHBC. Professional, friendly service, over and above what we expected! We would highly recommend the company.”

“Excellent service and a very thorough, clearly written report with lots of photos. Estimates of costs for work that needed doing proved to be accurate. The office staff that I spoke to were helpful, friendly and polite. Matthew was also very approachable and helpful, when i spoke to him on the phone. I would definitely definitely recommend this company - in fact I did!!”
