the range for the house valuation was far too wide that it rendered the mid point value chosen fairly meaningless - pretty useless in fact

All these sites are the same - promise you an "instant valuation" but what they ACTUALLY want is to harvest your contact details. Not worth a carrot.

It didn't.

I left a question just over two weeks ago, as yet it remains unanswered. Even if no one knows the answer an acknowledgement and 'sorry we don't know' would have been nice.

Hi, I'm very sorry that you didn't receive a response. If you emailed hello@hoa.org.uk you would have received our standard response which says that although we read all our emails, we may not be able to answer them all (especially in the holiday season). We always try to answer any questions we receive but we are not regulated or qualified to give personal legal or financial advice. If you send an email to paula@hoa.org.uk, I will personally respond. I hope to hear from you, Paula CEO, HomeOwners Alliance
Its just a insurance selling site.

N0, I was looking at how much house prices were so why do I have to give my PERSONAL details??
Helpful Report
Misleading figures. Out of date information.
Helpful Report
Hi, thanks for your feedback. We work really hard to ensure that our figures are up to date and regularly review all of our cost guides. We used our suppliers as a basis for the costs and we give a range. But no architects firm is the same so we recommend people shop around. You can find local architects near you using our comparison service - https://hoa.org.uk/services/find-an-architect-near-me/.
Not useful. Did not give a valuation. Were you simply wanting my email address?
Helpful Report
No it was of no use

Not really and your english is so poor !!!!!

After you fill in your house details for an anstant valuation you find the site also wants your personal information and you have to agree to spam. No way! waste of time. Use Zooppla instead.

it calculated sdlt on purchase price of 40,000 to be 6million pounds what a load of rubbish this site is
Helpful Report
Hi, we have just investigated this and you are right - there is a bug with our calculator if you enter a price between £10k and £40k. You don't need to pay stamp duty on properties above to £250k, unless you are purchasing an additional property. If this is the case there will be a 3% flat rate. We will be fixing our calculator right away. Paula
You offer to give quick evaluations but it turns out just a marketing ploy - all that was wanted was a valuation for home insurance renewall so that you can answer the question of value correctly.
Helpful Report
total rubbish , how do you come up with such wild estimates, valuation 1/4 of recent valuation
