“we enjoyed the roast, served in Blackcountry fashion with roast pork, sage onion & bacon stuffing. and plenty of gravy. I found it needed a little longer than recommended, but delicious.”

“Collected on Wednesday - after this year it was a pleasant ride out! The rooster was absolutely delicious as always. I actually decided to spatchcock it this year - even more tender and the taste is really superb.”

“From ordering on line to a new way to cook my Turkey ever part of the service and bird was wonderful. Ordering was simple and quick my enquiries were dealt with promptly, on the day of pick up the team were efficient and friendly. The leaflet that came with the turkey gave me advice on a new way to cook the bird and it's a game changer that I will be using again and again, a good product from a local source. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful Christmas despite the year that we all have had.”

“I bought a medium Capon from you for my slightly smaller Christmas lunch this year. I was delighted by the flavour and moistness of the bird. It was by far and away the best bird we have eaten at Christmastime. So full of flavour, so moist and just gorgeous! I only wish this lovely flavoured bird was available all year round. I cooked it as you suggested - most of the time breast down and then breast up and basted for the last hour. And at least 40 mins resting. It was delicious. Even 3 days on the leftovers were so moist. I will certainly be back next year! Thank you.”

“We always have a free range turkey for Christmas (usually a Norfolk Black or Bronze). This year we decided to try the herb fed free range. Oh my word it is absolutely THE best turkey we have ever had! Moist breast, fantastic flavour and (because of the quality,) a little goes a long way so plenty of leftovers for turkey paella. This will be our turkey of choice from now on. Thank you Herb Fed we were more than delighted with our Christmas dinner 👍🏻”

“Easy to order. Arrived at time and day specified. Beautiful looking bird (rooster). and better size for us than a turkey. Cooked to perfection using instructions on website. Very tasty and very moist. Also makes good curry and Christmas sandwiches 😁 Couldn’t ask for more.”

“This is the second year we have had a turkey from Herb Fed Limited. Our Boned and Rolled Turkey Breast Joint was delivered on December 22nd in a well-insulated box. The joint easily fitted into our oven and cooking was very straightforward by following the included instructions. Carving was quick and pleased to say the flavour lived up to our expectations. Thank you Herb Fed.”

“Superb : customer service, product quality, company ethos. Delighted to have found you via my local farm-shop at Hardiesmill in the Scottish Borders. Have long searched for such a high welfare poultry supplier and will accept nothing less than such standards.
