“Almost everything about your Herb Fed Turkey was brilliant. It arrived on time, in brilliant packaging with freezer pack to keep it cool in transit and it kept and then cooked brilliantly. My only criticism is that it took me quite a while to get the remainder of the feather quills out. I know that plucking a bird takes time but I was a bit dissapointed I had to do this in advance of cooking.”

“The herb fed rooster was the best I have had. It was moist and so tender it melted in your mouth. The 5kg bird fed 8 adults and a 5 year old and there was enough leftovers for two meals for 4 adults. Excellent value for money. I will be ordering again and spreading the word to my frinds.”

“Wow, just wow. Best tasting chicken (rooster) I have ever had. It looked like a real thug of a bird, massive chunky legs (loads of dark meat) and pure succulent white breast. Multiple meals out of this 6kg beast and 10 portions of soup from the stock made from the carcass. Sign me up for another next year (or maybe Easter).”

“Our Turkey was lovely. From moment we ordered,to the moment ate it on Christmas day. Very well organised and great instructions that we followed to the letter and it tasted wonderful. Would highly recommend for next year.”

“100% delighted with Herb Fed. The bird itself (a capon/cockerel) was delicious - cooked up beautifully and stayed lovely and juicy - right through to the leftovers. I tried the advice about cooking it upside down, and that seemed to help the breast meat keep nice and moist. The ordering service was easy and reliable. The bird was delivered in perfect time for Christmas. Nice touches, too, from Edward and Emma, like a wee bunch of herbs included and recipe ideas. Loved that level of care. Sorry the photos aren't better - by the time of serving I am beyond being capable of photography!”

“arrivged promptly on 23rd. stuffing recipe was tasty as was the capon, juicy and tasty. Lots of leftovers so capon and ham pies and enchiladas will probably order a small one next year.”
