“I bought a medium Capon from you for my slightly smaller Christmas lunch this year. I was delighted by the flavour and moistness of the bird. It was by far and away the best bird we have eaten at Christmastime. So full of flavour, so moist and just gorgeous! I only wish this lovely flavoured bird was available all year round. I cooked it as you suggested - most of the time breast down and then breast up and basted for the last hour. And at least 40 mins resting. It was delicious. Even 3 days on the leftovers were so moist. I will certainly be back next year! Thank you.”

“Wonderful Christmas bird. Will be buying again next year, third year in succession. Actually tastes like chicken we remember as children. Thank you”

“We always have a free range turkey for Christmas (usually a Norfolk Black or Bronze). This year we decided to try the herb fed free range. Oh my word it is absolutely THE best turkey we have ever had! Moist breast, fantastic flavour and (because of the quality,) a little goes a long way so plenty of leftovers for turkey paella. This will be our turkey of choice from now on. Thank you Herb Fed we were more than delighted with our Christmas dinner 👍🏻”

“Easy to order. Arrived at time and day specified. Beautiful looking bird (rooster). and better size for us than a turkey. Cooked to perfection using instructions on website. Very tasty and very moist. Also makes good curry and Christmas sandwiches 😁 Couldn’t ask for more.”

“the bird was very good - well plucked, well preserved in its travelling box. Good instructions for cooking which worked very well and we all had a good feast and plenty of left overs. Thank you.”

“This is the second year we have had a turkey from Herb Fed Limited. Our Boned and Rolled Turkey Breast Joint was delivered on December 22nd in a well-insulated box. The joint easily fitted into our oven and cooking was very straightforward by following the included instructions. Carving was quick and pleased to say the flavour lived up to our expectations. Thank you Herb Fed.”

“Superb : customer service, product quality, company ethos. Delighted to have found you via my local farm-shop at Hardiesmill in the Scottish Borders. Have long searched for such a high welfare poultry supplier and will accept nothing less than such standards. Huge thanks to you from me and my very wee Christmas dinner gathering - my very wee, very greedy Christmas dinner gathering!! Left-over turkey - what left-over turkey?! Thanks HF. You rock-a-doodle-do. N x”

“I have previously ordered chicken from the Herb Fed site so I went ahead and ordered my turkey on 17/11/20, all the 4-5kgs were already sold out, so went for the 6-7kgs size, easy to order on the web site, kept updated with messages, excellent service from DPD, text message sent and the turkey delivered at 07.30am! outer box and ice packet removed then straight into the fridge. On Christmas Day the turkey which weighed 6.88kgs was still extremely fresh, cooked beautifully and the meat was just amazing. Thank you to all at Herb Fed I will definitely order my turkey from you again”

“Very tasty bird, opted again for the turkey crown as not always good with timings when the legs are on it, would like the option of de-boned legs to go with the bird though.”

“Really great service and chickens as ever. My one disappointment was that both of the birds I picked up on Christmas Eve were use by Boxing Day, having been packed on the 18th. I had to use the second much faster than I'd hoped to, and probably wouldn't have ordered two had I know their date would be so short.”
