“meat is very fresh. great quality but I am not happy with how they cut it. when I First order it was great but on 2nd order it was look like some trainee cut our meat. hopefully you will look into this. thanks”

“We recently purchased half lamb, the meat quality is not as good as before, just tasted a little hard not as tender as previous orders. Also the order did not come with a box minced lamb (minced meat made after trimming) We are a little disappointed as we always order from Healthy Halal despite the price is a lot higher that other butcher shop on high streets.”

“The delivery waiting times are long. Everything was alright except for the lamb leg steaks which had too much fat in them. Also , mixed diced lamb had a lot of meat with bones. The meat was tough not lean. I like the fact that there is variety and the lamb is grass fed. The pricing is also higher than market.”

“On one occasion instead of fillet steak we receive rib rye steak which had more fat The chicken is average and no organic chicken available and always no duck available to order”

“The meat arrived poorly packaged in my opinion. I feel it could have been packed a bit more secure as the cling film was ripped on the steaks. Also the temprature was not cold- only 1 pack of ice was in the box so the products were not cool at all- which caused me a bit of doubt on the freshness- i have ordered boxes from hello fresh and prefer there cooling and packing methods. For that reason i will not be using again. Actual meat was ok not as fresh as my local butchers and way more expensive.”

“The steaks were very good quality however the rib eye was slightly thin, still the taste was very good and I found that the fillet mignon and the rib eye steak were extremely flavourful and tasty regardless of size. However the netted beef joint roast was not of the same quality. The taste was off and took about 5 minutes to chew per bite. Maybe this is just how beef joint is but i didn’t enjoy the experience in comparison to the steaks.”

“I am vegetarian and only order meat for the kids. Every order I place I ask for the meat to be cleaned of fat and blood as much as possible but this is not always the case. And this has been the same pre corona virus. I advise i am not one for touching meat. If the meat was cleaned a bit better for someone who is vegetarian and has to cook and provide for a meat eater I would have given 5/5. Hopefully mgmt will take on board my feedback. Thanks”
