“I purchased two of the same rug in different sizes to get the correct fit. Deciding on which rug fitted best I set out to return the other rug. I used a £10 voucher that was sent to me. The voucher was sent to me as an incentive to purchase and provided a discount of £10. The only terms of business which was clear was that the voucher could only be used against a purchased of £20 or more. I was told that if I return one rug, my discount off of my purchase will reduce to £5. I also noticed that the members price on your website is actually £51.95 not £54.95, thereby reducing my £5 discount to £1.00! I was actually enticed to complete a questionnaire for the measly reward of £1. I therefore decided to return both rugs which means that I will have lost the £10 (as it is not credited), or £1 depending on how you look at it. Trading Standards confirmed to me that Harry Hall practice unfair trading practices.”
