“The last product which I received I considered poorly packed. Handles need decent protection to prevent scuffing. The product was very good but I'd say that the screws were a little too long. Delivery times were very good. I would recommend this supplier to others.”

“Web site worked well to enable easy and quick item selection and ordering. I cannot say any more than that as I still have not received my goods. I have not received any emails indicating likely despatch date. Checking delivery status on the web two days ago indicated the items were awaiting despatch.”

Hi John, Thank you for your review. The products that you ordered are on a longer lead time as they are specially made in the UK by Croft. The system will say that the order is awaiting despatch until it is ready to go, then you will receive an email stating the order has been despatched. “Having placed my order the previous Friday a.m. and having not received any despatch details via email I contacted your chat line on the Tuesday morning to see how my order was progressing and was told it would be with me by Thursday. About 13.15 the same day, as I was about to go out the package arrived. I spoke by phone to your company about this situation and received very little sympathy, with the blame being put on 'an internet problem' Subsequent checks on the tracking service which had been emailed to me apparently very soon after my morning call, and which I had no reason to be checking after the phone call, showed that the shipment had been despatched the previous day and was in fact out for local delivery to me at the time of my call. I have no problem with the goods themselves or FedEx but something certainly went wrong regarding my despatch notification.”

“I was very pleased to find these door handles on the internet as they appeared identical to the ones we had seen in a national DIY chain for half the price so I ordered 10 pairs to refit the whole house. I should have know better - I always say you only get what you pay for and in this case I was spot on. The handles are poor quality cast iron with a cheap chrome plating and one set had not even been chrome plated properly. The cuts on the supplied screws were so narrow I had to use a small electrical screwdriver and some had no cuts at all. If I had purchased them locally I would have taken them back and demanded a refund! Will not purchase anything else from this company if this is an example of the quality of their products.”

Sorry to hear that the handles you ordered didn't fulfill your expectations, and as a measure of our concern we have suspended the handles in question from our website pending further quality control checks. They are/were stated online as a contract range, however we as a distributor still expect a certain level of quality and craftsmanship from our suppliers, so will we be happy to exchange or refund your order if that is agreeable with you. “The handles we ordered arrived quickly and we were delighted with the quality and price. I later had to contact Handles4homes as one of the spindles had been accidently cut to the wrong length (our fault) so we called for a replacement, which was sent to us very quickly. I would heartily recommend them!”

“Handles look good, delivered on time, price ok. Website was ok, the usual scrolling for types that are similar always concerned you get te wrong type. Just fel the website could make this easier. It's small items like this that makes you want to go to shop to be sure. Overall good”
