“I was very pleased to find these door handles on the internet as they appeared identical to the ones we had seen in a national DIY chain for half the price so I ordered 10 pairs to refit the whole house. I should have know better - I always say you only get what you pay for and in this case I was spot on. The handles are poor quality cast iron with a cheap chrome plating and one set had not even been chrome plated properly. The cuts on the supplied screws were so narrow I had to use a small electrical screwdriver and some had no cuts at all. If I had purchased them locally I would have taken them back and demanded a refund! Will not purchase anything else from this company if this is an example of the quality of their products.”

Hi Ian, Thank you for your reply to our review request. Sorry to hear that the handles you ordered didn't fulfill your expectations, and as a measure of our concern we have suspended the handles in question from our website pending further quality control checks. They are/were stated online as a contract range, however we as a distributor still expect a certain level of quality and craftsmanship from our suppliers, so will we be happy to exchange or refund your order if that is agreeable with you. “Sold a polished chrome door lock even though it was nickel. Even more insulting was sales person trying to persuade me it was polished chrome. Apart from the fact I have a degree in engineering and know the difference between nickel and chrome, the words nickel on the pack was a give away. Not very impressed”

Hi Darren, Thank you for leaving a review of your purchase with us. I have to admit that we are really not sure how you came to recieve a nickel plated cylinder instead of a polished chrome cylinder. We stock 100's of the CYA71370PC cylinders that you ordered, and i would appreciate it if you could let me know the code from the side of the box so i can investigate further. Sorry if you felt that you were not being told the complete truth, i can assure that we also know the differences between material and finishes and can only put this situatuion down to a manufacturer packing error, or a picking error in our warehouse. If you can let me know that information, i will organise a full refund for your inconvenience, Many thanks Adam Copsey H4H
