My daughter had her third birthday party at Gymboree (St Albans branch) and had a fabulous time. We had about ten children ranging from 3-5 yr old and did a two hour party including a craft session. The team were fantastic, engaging with all the children. The session was well structured, well thought through and we had great feedback from all the parents. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter and I have been enjoying Gymboree since she was about 6 months old we both love the fun and friendly atmosphere, and all the staff are fabulous.

I have attended Gymboree with both of my children and they have absolutely loved it, as have my husband and I. It is so engaging, you get so many ideas of things to do at home and the songs become second nature at home too. Highly highly recommend it to any parent!

Hi, Please find below an email I sent to your West Hampstead branch following a trial session back in June after which I was extremely disappointed - unfortunately I was never offered a response so seeing as you have requested feedback I am sending you a copy of my email below. I think the least they could have done was to at least reply. Hi, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately whilst the class was great (as was the instructor), I felt very uncomfortable attending with my 5 year old son. We were advised over the phone that this shouldn’t be an issue and that my friend attending with her son would be able to oversee the two little ones whilst I stayed with my son, however on arrival the lady doing the check in (who also had quite a rude and abrupt manner anyway) was advising me that my 5 year old son had to stay in the “shoe section” by himself whilst I attend the class. I was a bit confused by this but once we got upstairs explained to the instructor who understood that leaving my 5 year old just sitting by himself was not a very pleasant situation- and allowed for me to stay with my son whilst my daughter attended the class under the supervision of my friend. However the lady from downstairs made a point to find me upstairs and quite rudely suggested that I had left my daughter unattended as she had expected. At this point I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome and was ready to leave with both my children. We stayed as she then decided she would allow it having explained that my daughter was being minded by my close friend attending with her son. Unfortunately, my daughter did then run into a metal basketball hoop at the end of the session. This hoop was at eye level in the soft play area (which in all honestly I’m not sure is a great location for a metal frame in an area for children of ranging heights running around - even “at arms length”) and rather than ask if she was ok, the male member of staff who was present in that area at the time was very quick to announce:“ this is why we ask every child to be at arms length of their carer” which I took as a direct criticism of me leaving my daughter with my friend. Now I take responsibility for me attending with two children and not being able to abide by the rules fully - but in that case I should have been told outright that my attendance wasn’t possible and I would have spared myself this level of interrogation and irritation. I left feeling quite upset and whilst my daughter had a great time I’m not sure I’ll be returning which is a shame - not solely because of the attitude of the two meme eta of staff but because it makes it very restrictive and exclusive of parents who may have another sibling during the school holidays. This is just my feedback. It’s purely to emphasise the difficulties some families have with arranging these appointments with more than one child. A little understanding or empathy rather than pointing the finger and shaming would have gone a long way. Kind regards Nazli Spencer Sent from my iPhone

Gymboree has been absolutely amazing for my little girl. We started attending when she was 5 months old and she has thrived in all the classes. The open gym sessions have been an added bonus enabling my child to socialise freely with varying age groups. It has built her self confidence and she feels at home here. The classes are superb and the team are absolutely outstanding.

Gymboree is an amazing fun and safe place for little ones to develop their strength and coordination to sit up, crawl, walk and climb. The staff are always friendly and the kids love them. It's great value for money and certainly something we look forward to each week!

Gymboree has been amazing for my little boys development, he has come on so much since we’ve started classes. The two girls who take the class are so friendly and kind and really make the effort to get to know each child. We love it!

It’s been a while since we visited. My son enjoyed it until about 15 months and not a whole lot had changed when I returned a few years later with my baby daughter. Most practitioners were full of energy and enthusiasm, and overall its a nice class for little babies starting out. My feedback would be to work to enhance lessons by developing new ideas and activities, whilst also expanding on resources. It’s very repetitive and expensive!

Lia and I have been going to Gymboree since she was 12 weeks old and even though lockdown meant we had to take a break in between we have loved going to classes every week. I've seen my baby do things she never does at home at Gymboree which really shows that the team provide a nurturing and fun environment that really helps babies reach those milestones. Karen and Kamini are always so friendly and welcoming which is really lovely. I would definitely recommend!

My daughter has lovely going to her Gymboree classes. She’s grown in confidence and agility and, when once she was shy going around the park, she runs off and doesn’t need any assistance at all. Thanks all 💜

The best class to take your little one to by far! The enthusiasm and energy this team give every child is just so admirable. My little boy really came out of his shell because of this class.

We started Gymboree in between lockdowns, it was so lovely to have somewhere to go where my little girl could see other babies, it did her the world of good. It’s such a lovely class, she learnt so much & it’s really bought on her social skills after not mixing with other children for so long. Her confidence has come on so much & that is thanks to Gymboree. The singing, the group time & the activities when using the equipment are just the best, the girls are all so lovely too & make it so much fun, we always look forward to our Gymboree class each week.

I couldn't recommend Gymboree highly enough! My daughter attended for 5 months and each week she grew in confidence. Her physical skills were improved and the changing topics kept her engaged and learning. The staff have been fantastic, so fun, caring and helpful. Also a great opportunity for parents to chat and get to know each other and the other kids in the class, it had a real community feel. Such a welcoming and warm environment. Thank you for a great experience!

We were invited to visit for a trial session. We both had a great time. My 17month old loved the freedom of being able to explore the play equipment and Polly was great at keeping him engaged. Would definitely recommend
