“I have been going to Gymboree for two years now and both of my children love it. The staff are brilliant at engaging the children and the facilities are great. Highly recommend to anyone who has a baby/young child.”

“Myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed attending Gymboree sessions for about 2 and a half years, we were always made to feel extremely welcome and the classes were always fun and imaginative. After having my second child, I knew I'd like to return to gymboree classes. This time I've had the opportunity to take part in the baby sensory classes, they are brilliant and have exceeded any expectations that I had. My son is entertained each week with a range of songs, instruments and a variety of sensory activities - the lights in particular! We look forward to our class each week and often stay for the 'free play' session too. The setting and the staff all make for an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere which I'd recommend to everyone.”

“It's a really nice idea and the babies love the soft play area and mostly enjoy the classes. However, the quality of the staff is variable - some of them are excellent but one or two are disappointing - not using the babies' names in classes or getting the right balance in terms of how long to spend on each activity. Given how expensive membership is, I would like to see more consistency in the quality of the staff. At times the cleanliness of the soft play area has also fallen short of expectations but for the most part it is fine.”

“Lovely staff, great organisation and structure. My 15 month old isn't the most confident mover but Gymboree has definitely helped her 'find her feet'. The only thing that is a little stressful is the lack of space to get coats/shoes on at the end of the session and pushchair parking. Otherwise I'm very impressed!”

“My daughter is relatively new to Gymboree (attended four level 3 classes). I like the themes, the variety of activities and the fact that they are purposeful and are targeted for each age group. The staff are lovely too. However, sometimes too many different activities are squeezed into a 45min class and just as my daughter is getting into the swing of something we're moving onto something else. As a result the sessiobs can feel a little hectic.”

“The class is excellent, my little grandson was quite shy for the first couple of weeks but now absolutely loves it. It has a good balance of learning through noises and picture /toy association and physical activity. The girls that run the classes are great with the little ones and are always happy and smiling. If they had spaces on a another day I would definitely be taking him. I highly recommend Gymboree classes for young children.”

I have been going for almost five years with my son and now my daughter. They are both very different characters but have both gained a lot from Gymboree. I would recommend it to everyone.”

“Hi there, my 4yo and I loved Gymboree and had his party there after having been to someone else's. The LOUD girl who did the party was fantastic and later I signed my 2yo up to classes also run by her - Jennie?? Unfortunately my little one did not get into the classes, he was clingy and shy and took him the full hour only to warm up just as the class finished. So I reluctantly rang to say I would leave the classes for a while and try again a few months down the line. However I had to leave this message on an answerphone and no one ever came back to me so I wondered if they'd got the message but then my direct debit was stopped so they obviously did. After a party and a term of classes and the intention to return later on, a phonecall back to say 'well thanks for your business, we hope to see you again' would have been nice! It felt a bit like 'oh well get lost then!' Wouldn't have complained but seeing as you asked...!”

The classes are so good the babies never get bored my daughter especially likes the bubbles, musical balls and the parachute and lights (all of it basically) every parent and child should go to Gymboree.”

“I've been attending Gymboree in Edinburgh with my son since he was 9 months old. He's now 3 and a half. The classes are amazing, and the activities brilliantly tailored for each level. He has thrived at Gymboree growing in confidence very time we attend. Nicole who runs most of the classes, is warm, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and organised, making every child feel welcome and included. The layout of the building also helps to make every parent feel relaxed (especially new parents) - parking, members, lounge for coats and bags, snack room, baby changing, toilets a baby room and no stairs or lifts. And as parents are encouraged to stay for coffee afterwards, it has been a very sociable experience for me too, and I have made some great friends. I cannot recommend Gymboree enough!”
