“Taylor T5z Classic purchased in May 2020 from Guitar Mania in Poole, Dorset, UK. The shop and it's owner Chris gave superb advise and service and are highly recommended. This is my first proper foray into the world of hybrid guitars and came from to a desire to obtain and play with proper acoustic tones while not getting on very well with the proportions of a proper acoustic guitar!! I am a long time electric guitar player and have got rather too used to the smaller body proportions but the T5z fits very nicely being more or less the same size as my PRS SE Tremonti Custom. The T5z is the 'basic' model but there is NOTHING basic about it! It's electrics are the same as it's more expensive sister guitars, but the materials are all mahogany (with an ebony fretboard) with none of the special maple tops or binding to the neck or body or edging to the f-holes that the others have. It's a satin finish which I found very warm and smooth to the touch and for playing the hand fits and moves perfectly as one plays. Acoustically the guitar is surprisingly loud and gives good projection for such a thin body with all notes sounding clear and warm.. I suspect the mahogany helps here! Electrically I haven't experimented too much yet (I will try to update my review or write a new one once I have), but it certainly seems very versatile so far and the 5 variants in pickup and body sensor combinations give one a really good variety of sounds to play with! If you, as I do, wish to combine acoustic and electric tones in one song, without having to change instrument, then this guitar is THE answer in my opinion! Thank you to Chris at Guitar Mania!”

“Excellent customer focused online ordering service from Chris at Guitar Mania, proving that you don't have to be a walk in customer to get the 5 star treatment. My purchase, an ex-display Marshall amp, was very accurately described and keenly priced. It was very well packed in its original well-protected box and Chris even threw in a cover to ensure there was additional protection during transit. There was a hiccup with the delivery service used - no fault whatsoever of Guitar Mania and a casualty of the current COVID-19 situation at my local courier's end. Highly unlikely to affect other customers unless you too live in Lincolnshire but, if by some small chance there was a problem, Chris will chase things for you and keep you well-informed throughout. Great email & telephone communication. Wish I lived in Poole!!!”
