“I am presently engaged in building a model Trebuchet, which is a medieval siege engine, for my local museum and needed to source some oak dowels for this project. There was nothing suitable at my local builders merchants so I went online to see what was on offer. The first thing to catch my eye was a link to the G&S Specialist Timber website so I took a look and was immediately impressed with the selection of hardwoods on offer and the range of sizes. The prices were very reasonable too. Just what I was looking for, so I immediately added oak and beech dowels to my basket and proceeded to checkout my purchases. My order was dealt with in record time and I am now sitting here with a pile of arrow straight oak and beech dowels in various different sizes. I must say that I am delighted with my order. Would definitely recommend this firm to anyone looking for quality dowels”
