“The order took a few days to be dispatched, but delivery was very good through DPD. The wood is very good for carving with an even grain. Could have done without the sticky labels which were difficult to remove. I guess I will carve off what is left though. Will definitely use G&S again as the choice in carving wood sizes is much better than anywhere else I have seen and the price is great too.”

“I needed a 10 foot pole for a curtain rail I was making. G&S were extremely responsive by email, advising on both diameter and type of wood. The pole was dispatched on time, and when the delivery company made an error G&S owned the problem and pressed the delivery company to resolve it. Added to which, my oak pole is beautifully made and looks gorgeous. Recommended.”

“G&S Timber has a good selection of wood and tools. I have bought hardwood dowels from them several times. This time I found that they had the specialized countersink bit I was looking for. They are competitively priced and all that they have supplied me with has been good quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending G&G Specialist Timber to anyone.”

“Very pleased with the service, less so with the knife. Order placed on Monday morning and the knife arrived Tuesday afternoon very well-packed. Slightly disappointed with the knife as it is not in any way 'extremely sharp' as per the description on the packaging. I'm not entirely surprised, as the knife only cost £11.28, however, this will not discourage me from ordering from you again in the future.”
