“This company is a bit special. They have an excellent customer services team and I've recently experienced just how excellent when an order that was not quite as expected was very speedily dealt with and the correct items despatched the next day. I suspect they would have been despatched on the day I alerted the team but it was probably beyond the time to catch the post (as it were). I've ordered wood from them over a number of years and never been let down, the quality is always there. An exceptional company.”

“I have used G&S Specialist Timber several times over the last two years and they have always been great. I’ve bought mostly ash and oak dowel, but also some rough sawn and planed timber - all of which has arrived quickly, well-packaged, and in great condition. I’ve emailed them directly regarding a couple of purchases, and they’ve always been accommodating and prompt in their response. I don’t usually write reviews: but today I got my order delivered literally ‘next day’ - something I really wasn’t expecting (in a good way) - which reminded me to leave this five-star review for well-deserved product and customer service.
