“Ordered this timber to make a standing frame for my disabled grand daughter who suffers from SMA. I was conscious of the fact she would be holding on to this frame when she was trying to stand after it had been made so my choice of timber was very important I decided to do it in oak for maximum strength and durability I gave the sizes to G&S for the frame and ordered the dowels for the handrails and can only say I was more than pleased with the quality and sizing of the rails and the dowels I would thoroughly recommend their service”

“Of the three pieces of timber ordered, two were slightly bowed and parts were green the other was acceptable. As I wanted them for cigar box guitar necks then they are not exactly usable.”

Good morning, Thank you for your review, Please can you send us some images of the bowed pieces to website@toolsandtimber.co.uk to get this resolved for you. Unfortunately Tulipwood natural colour comes with a bit of green grain and isn't possible to machine out. Kind regards G&S
