“Greenhouse Stores were brilliant all the way through the purchase of my greenhouse. I had some queries before I bought the greenhouse and whilst I was erecting it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same of the person who delivered my greenhouse or, in fact, the quality of the greenhouse ! The greenhouse was delivered the day before the due day for delivery. Normally this would be fine but on that day both my wife and myself were out. Some builders working on our house were just leaving work when the driver arrived. They put the boxes containing the frame etc. in our sunroom but the driver stacked the glass against a wooden fence ! The fence flexes in a wind so much so that if the wind were to have risen before we arrived home then the glass would have fallen over and quite possibly have been broken. The quality of the actual greenhouse is poor and, bearing in mind that this is supposed to be one of the stronger greenhouses, is constructed of very thin aluminium sections ! In point of fact the sections could not possibly be any thinner ! We live in a very exposed position in Cornwall and I explained this at the outset so expected something more heavily constructed than what I actually got ! Another problem encountered during the erection of the greenhouse was the lack of suitable instructions and one has to rely on a series of very ambiguous, very small diagrams. I ordered the full capping to retain the glass, which is toughened, but I am not too hopeful of it surviving any big storm !”
