Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“Down to Earth Trees came to the estate to carry out a process called amelioration on an ancient tree of some considerable note; not a job you would entrust to just anyone. From start to finish their approach was both knowledgeable and very professional. Clearly passionate about their work, they were always keen to explain the process through its various stages. They were a delight to have around, and I would engage them again without hesitation. I highly recommend them.”

“After contacting Down to Earth, John came out within a few days to advise and quote for our tree works. A date was set quickly and on the day, a huge team came out to complete the works. They were friendly, courteous and tidied up after themselves. They worked through pouring rain to get the job done. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely use them again. Thanks.”

“Down to Earth have been caring for our Blue Cedar for a number of years keeping it in bounds so near our house and, with a good shape. Much loved by the garden birds as a stop off point coming into the bird feeders. Very efficient and trusted service.”

“Easily contactable, and very efficient to deal with. The 3 guys who felled our large oak tree arrived on time, and worked hard. They did a great job and took care in everything they did. The tree was all cleared and they left the area clear and clean.”
