“Service and delivery is excellent. As to the efficacy of their products, well, the jury is still out! I have given my lawns an autumn and spring treatment of Leatherjacket Nematodes, applied exactly as per instructions yet this September produced a crop of 100s of emerging Craneflies! Snake Oil? I don't know, and I will persevere for another year but I await next Autumn with interest.”

To ; Kenneth Jones From : Jonathan Thanks for the message and a Leatherjacket infestation builds up over a number of years i.e. they mate and lay their eggs back into the same piece of grass so by the time the infestation is bad enough to kill the lawn it is a number of years old. The nematodes are very effective but it will take a number of applications to clear it but the situation should improve each year. Fingers crossed you will not need an April treatment next year and then a couple more Autumn treatments (this is when it is most effective) will clear it. “Easy access on line. Good coverage of products available. Reasonable price, with good delivery service to your door. My lawn was infested with chafer grubs and a complete mess of brown and dead/dying patches. Now in mid-October and a proud owner of a full green lawn. May I also recommend Nemasys Biological vine weevil killer. Marvellous. Follow all the instructions for both products and you will not be disappointed.”

“I have bought vine weevil nematodes from Green Gardener for many years now and have had hardly any vine weevil grub attack, despite seeing adults in the garden regularly. Many of my plants have been in pots for the past 2 years because we moved house, but the twice-yearly application of nematodes have kept them clear, even the weevils' favourites, heucheras and ferns! Delivery is always prompt and customer service friendly. I would recommend them.”

“Good service, but I kind of assumed the product would be chemicals free ish, but it’s not. It seems to only not have glyphosate. That’s good, but I assume, maybe wrongly, that being ‘green’ nowadays means being aware of the effect on chemicals on humans and not just the environment and therefore moving to natural products which don’t cause chemical load on the body.”

“They didn't respond to my query regarding flea nematodes despite stating that they provide support via email; so I'm a bit diappointed. Unfortunately I've not been able to find an alternative seller of flea nematodes so have had to reluctantly purchase from them a second time. Fleas are a big problem in my back garden due to having lots of stray cats visiting so having to try multiple methods to keep the fleas at bay. I'm hopefull that they will work but can't say for definite.”

“Asked for delivery the day after I returned from holiday. Goods were delivered on the day. Although apparently it had rained a lot whilst I was away we are now experiencing something like an Indian Summer. No rain is forecast in the 2 weeks that I have left to apply the product, the sky has no clouds and the sun is beating down. I have watered the lawn for 2 days and will apply tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will work.”

“Good so far. Good response with delivery within a couple of days. Since the product was perishable this was important. The instructions were OK but as I have used this product before not difficult. I am awaiting the next delivery next week to apply the second treatment. It remains to be seen if the treatment was successful!”
