“Bought a Sonic repeller to try and prevent stoats raiding all the wild life in our pond and it works! Easy to set up and robust. We have had one for a year and have now bought a spare as a back up. Maybe it will deter rabbits from borders but we will have to experiment.”

“Green Gardener provides an easy order and fast delivery service and I would recommend them. I garden organically and value wildlife in my garden, but slugs destroy so much that I am relieved to have found Green Gardener. It supplies nematodes that selectively attack slugs and which I use very effectively but only on pots of hostas and clematis. This leaves plenty more in the garden for Hedgehogs!”

“Bought some of the more expensive,apparently thicker copper rings as a random notion because I was so pleased with the cheaper ones that I bought last year- successful delphiniums and hostas! Stick to the cheaper ones - they slot together better - the thicker ones pull apart, they also connect to each other better to make larger rings, Also the thicker ones aren't really thicker- they have a folded lip that makes them look thicker but it just makes them harder to push into the soil.”

“The green gardener web page is pretty poor with many products shown but not available for purchase and those which are available are hardly intuitive. Most sellers web sites are so much easier to use. The products though are great, I have particularly found Nema slug and the slug attractant to be effective and also the ladybirds to be a great way to control aphids.”

“Very informative about products, my second purchase from them. I appreciate the nature of my purchase, Nemesis, being to order but an estimate of delivery would help. I'd like a regular update maybe weekly. I don't mind it not being fast but once in a while an email saying "we are estimating ...." would be great”

“I purchased Nemasys Chafer Grub Killer and Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer and they seem to be working fine. It was around spring this year that I noticed my grass was damaged so ordered the products to stop it happening again next year, so the real proof will become evident in spring 2017. Ordering was fine and delivery was swift. Would order from this company again. The reason for a review rating of "good" rather than "Very Good" is simply because I emailed the company a couple of times and didn’t always get a response.”

“I have been using nematodes for a number of years- they are great. One small thing that may have provided an excellent score would have been if an email was sent or a text to say that the delivery was en route - it would save the unexpected surprises”

“Very happy with our Bokashi purchase. We've had this from other suppliers and sometimes it's gone mouldy. Not so this one, and it's nicely dry and grainy. Also delivered efficiently”

“I have a significant vine weevil problem both in pots and in the soil in a couple of flowerbeds. I've used Nemasys natural vine weevil killer two years in a row now and it definitely helps. One rhododendron in a pot has flowered for the first time in several years as it is no longer being eaten!”

“Great products and service , thank you . However , if promoting natural and environmentally aware goods , should this not follow through on the packaging , my fertiliser arrived a polystyrene box, which is non- recyclable , therefore will have to go into landfill, with potential knock on effects to the habitat etc. More environmentally friendly options are available, if it is a cost decision , then I am sure most of your conscientious customers would not mind paying a tad more , and not have the concern of packaging waste. Green Gardener could live up to its name in all areas and maybe make PR /marketing use of the change!”

Thank you for the feedback and any packaging we buy in is either recyclable or re-usable. We do work with our suppliers to try and receive our goods in "green" packaging as well, but if we do get other packaging i.e. polystyrene boxes then we try to re-use it. This is why we re-used one of the these polystyrene boxes for your order rather than putting it into landfill ourselves. Perhaps I should look into labelling these items as "re-used". I hope this puts your mind at rest about our packaging. Jonathan from Green Gardener.
