I requested a quote for my household insurance and was directed to Be Wise which I subsequently discovered was a broker and not an insurance company. They quoted me the most competitive price and when I tried to buy the policy, I was told I would have to call them. I was promised a return call which never happened and when I chased them up, I was quoted 3 times the originally quoted amount. This is outrageous and should be illegal.

Go compare put me in touch with Acorn Insurance. What a terrible company they are. They claim I hadn’t declared my status correctly but having checked my inputs on your website again that is not true and they are making false allegations. Go compare great. Accorn Insurance avoid. I wonder what their payout record is?? I suspect they’ll find any excuse not to pay out.

All the quotes I was offered on Go compare for my home insurance were invalid as every quote I clicked on I had to phone another company to go through my policy again. Every new price I was quoted with this new company was double in amount. A waste of time. I did my own research in the end and got a better price. This service on Go Compare lacks transparency and is misleading.

My cheapest quote was£220 from the AA. When I get to the payment it has doubled to£440 along with the compulsory excess from£100 to£200. ???

We decided to cancel our Insurance with Van Line but they will not let us , they have put the direct debit thought as well and then they said they would ring us back, after we said to cancel the policy , but they did not ring back. we been ring for two days now , over a hour on the phone today but still holding on cannot believe such a Company . Look on their reports and lots of unhappy people using Van Line. We have 14 days by Law to cancel a Policy but they will not let us.

It was hopeless, was trying to get Boiler Cover, whatever I tried I kept getting taken back to Buildings and Home insurance, rubbish

I had a quote off you for Swintons, so rang them up and they said no way could they do it for the price that you quoted me as they would be loosing out and that you must be having issues your end, so i ended up going on compare the market,com who sorted me out with a good quote.

I managed to get my quote and got to thee paying stage but the sight won't allow me to pay. I have tried calling the insurance company but no reply. I will try again after the bank holiday, if it won't work I will try another compare sight.

My wife and I were disgusted with the fact that having given us a quote for car insurance when we went to purchase it les than 10 days later, although the quote was still on your website it was impossible to take up the quote. We tried ringing Saga to see why and got nowhere we were just told the price had increased. It was only about £12 but we went elsewhere and got something

Every quote I went to price went up at end. Asked why no response. Tried 3 companies. Went compare market in end. And another £20 cheaper

Your quotes are very expensive. I don't understand how you survive with these types of quotes compared to other comparative websites. You should improve your quotes to let customers come to you.
