“My experience with gethair was great. I had doubts about going abroad to do a sugary, but with gethair I was able to speak to someone in UK based office. I spoke to Stuart, who was able to answer all my questions and put my fears to rest. The process from start to finish was was great. I would definitely recommend gethair to anyone who is thinking about hair transplant.”

“I was very apprehensive about traveling abroad for surgery. The main driving factor was price but I was still dubious about doing it. Having gone through it I would recommend it to anyone. The whole process was so simple and GetHair really take care of everything. When I arrived at the Limak Eurasa Hotel I couldn’t believe how nice it was and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I could see the Medistate hospital where the surgery is performed from my room window it is that close! Yet the driver still collects you from the hotel lobby and leaves you back after surgery. The hospital is very clean and modern and they have a English speaking patient liaison that explaines everything that is going to happen. The surgeon Dr Tayfun draws on your new hairline and the before pictures are taken then a nurse shaves your head and brings you into the operating room so the procedure can begin. I have a slight phobia of needles so I was very nervous at this stage but the team where very professional and took blood for the PRP and inserted the drip with minimal discomfort. The anaesthetic injections are quite painful but anyone that is suffering from hair loss will agree that it’s worth it! The good thing is that it doesn’t take long and when when your scalp is numb there is no pain during the actual transplant. I would like to make people aware that although you can’t feel it you can hear the incisions being made and it can be a bit uncomfortable! But again totally worth it. I was very pleased that the surgery only took 5 hours when I had prepared myself mental for an 8 hour session. Once it was done and the donor area bandages up I was given some food, and a painkiller. And after I ate I was given aftercare advice and medication for the night ahead and told to come back in the morning for the full rundown of aftercare and first wash. I spent the rest of the day/night in the hotel room and ordered room service (several times). The next morning the driver collected me from the hotel and took me to the hospital to get the first wash, medication for the first week and a very detailed aftercare talk. They also give you a bag with lotion, shampoo, a headband and hat. I don’t know what kind of hat I was expecting but it’s a black bucket hat with DrThairtransplant embroidered on it. After years of wanting to get this done I wasn’t going to ruin it by wearing a SnapBack right away so I just embraced the fresh surgery look for the first two weeks! I am now 9 weeks post surgery and so far my progress as been pretty much to the book that they gave me. Weeks 10-12 are supposed to be when the transplanted hairs start to regrow so I’m looking forward to the next few weeks. I have already noticed greater density in my transplanted area and I am so happy with how my new hairline is coming along. I will update this (along with before and after pictures) when I get my full results.”

“A fantastic experience from start to finish. The team in the UK (Stuart) and Turkey are fantastic and very professional. The 2 nights in Turkey were hassle free with a lovely hotel and all transfers taken care of. All questions I had prior to the surgery we answered immediately and now having had the surgery I am excited for the results. I cannot recommend Get Hair enough.”

“Having undertaken research into the hair transplant industry it immediately struck me as being diverse and varied in terms of the quality one could expect of the end product this made it even more important to make the correct choice of supplier. From looking at the various websites one compnay (Get Hair) was continuously mentioned as being highly recommended. Given this I opted for them and I haven't been left dissapointed by my decision in anyway. I've been left in no doubt every step of the way and felt reassured by the methodology throughout. I'm now post ok and everything is looking ample to once again having a full head of hair.”

“Excellent, smooth service throughout from pickup to hotel to clinic staff. Galina and Nasimi were great as were all the rest of the staff. There is always a bit of worry and trepidation going to an unknown country for a medical procedure but everyone was so nice and put me at ease. The pre and post procedure support in the UK was excellent; Stuart stayed in touch and all queries were were answered swiftly.”

“The whole interaction with GetHair was professional and, importantly, at my pace. Never once did I feel pressured into making a decision. I can't imagine that can be said very often! Also having a UK-based office to deal with helped to feel a level of comfort that I doubt I would have had if dealing with the clinic directly in Turkey. Overwhelmingly, however, I got comfort from the sheer volume of positive reviews which are clearly genuine reviews. I can report that I had an experience in line with the many other positive reviews left here. My story would be the same as most others, a positive story. In brief, the driver met me at the airport and I was taken to the hotel - 2hrs due to the horrendous Istanbul traffic. Hotel was much nicer than I anticipated; seriously nice but strangely quiet. At dinner of the other 4/5 tables in use, 2 had transplant patients, so when the following day arrives and you are also bandaged up it is nothing the hotel staff don't see everyday, I found that comforting. I am 2wks post-surgery and, having followed the post-operative care diligently I think I am in good shape. I would urge 2wks away from work post-surgery. The first few days are a little uncomfortable as your body gets over the anesthetic and the sleeping sitting up isn't easy, that soon passes however. Then there is scabbing on from days 8-12 which isn't the prettiest. If you are lucky enough to be able to take off longer then good for you, but that would not be necessary for physical comfort purposes. Top Tip - As you are encouraged to keep your head out of the rain and direct sunlight for a period of time post-surgery, I would encourage you to buy a loose fitting hat (one that won't directly contact your recipient area) for use once you get home. Dr T does provide one that is handy in the first instance, but it is also branded (light blue text on a black hat) so you may want something more subtle for when you first venture outdoors. If FUE is something you are interested in then I would recommend Dr Tayfun for the reasons outlined above and in other reviews regardless of the price, pleasingly as cheaper than similar surgeries in the UK it is also better value. “I had my procedure done just over 2 weeks ago now and I have already noticed a difference in growth. All scabs have fallen off within the 14 days as informed, and my hair is definitely looking fuller already. Great service from Gethair from start to finish. I have already recommended Gethair to about 8 people who are interested in gaining a better head of hair, and I have to say the whole experience was flawless. All correspondence and contact from Stuart Cumming and Mel in Istanbul when I arrived, has been first class. At no point during the first contact I had with Gethair, have I had any doubts or concerns about the procedure from leaving the UK to returning back again. On the morning of my procedure, I sat at breakfast and was surrounded by 6 or 7 others who had obviously had the procedure carried out the day before. This made me feel a lot more at ease knowing I wasn’t going to be the only person in the hotel with bandages and headband. The aftercare products and contact have also been first class, with all queries and questions answered immediately. Due to others seeing me in the flesh post op and telling them of my experience, I’m sure you will have quite a few enquiries from my area. Thank you very much for a first class professional experience. I would most definitely highly recommend Gethair to anyone wishing to have a hair transplant, as the whole experience was truly flawless and worth every penny. Thank you very much Stuart and team.”

“I can’t recommend this enough, the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve always wanted a hair transplant but thought it was an unaffordable pipe dream but after doing some research I realised that Turkey was the place to go. From the moment I contacted Get Hair they were fantastic. I dealt with Stuart who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once I decided that I was going to get the procedure done I only had a small time frame as I was in-between jobs, Stuart managed to get my procedure scheduled for a few weeks later, which worked perfectly for me. When I arrived at the airport in Istanbul my transfer was already waiting for me. It was about a 30-minute drive to the hotel, I must say that the driving in Istanbul was quite an experience; the white lines on the road seem to mean nothing! The hotel was nice and clean and very close to the hospital which was handy in the morning. I was told that I would be collected at 9am the next morning, my lift was already waiting when I arrived in reception. When I arrived at the hospital all worries that I had were put to rest. The hospital looked more advanced than any I have been to in the UK. The receptionists in Dr Tayfun’s office were very welcoming and informative which helped me feel at ease. The procedure itself only took 4-5 hours, everything was explained to me at each stage. It was completely painless; Dr Tayfun and the nurses did a great job to make me feel at ease. After the procedure I was bandaged up and given my instructions for the night. I was a bit sceptical about going down for breakfast the next morning but decided to brave it, I’m sure the staff are used to seeing people in my state! I was then taken to the hospital for my initial wash and follow up session where everything regarding the post-op care was explained. I’m 3 months in now and already over the moon with my results, it is already miles better than I expected! My scabs were clear by day 10 and I haven’t experienced the mass shedding that seems to affect most people. The remaining hairs have also started to grow which has surprised me as everything I have been told and reads indicated that they don’t start growing until the 3 month mark. Now I’m at 3 months I should hopefully start seeing the new hairs coming through. I’m looking forward to seeing how it groves over the next few months.”

“Absolutely happy with the results, the doctor Ilker was excellent, the staff, New Age clinic was incredible, Stuart in customer service resolved all my inquiries (around 30 emails asking everything) and every detail around the FUE procedure was flawless. I totally recommend Gethair for this treatment. The experience was better than expected. I came with an initial report of 3.400 grafts but in the procedure, they could extract +4.400 because my donor area was in good conditions, and all this with the same price. In addition, I was in a hotel with many others patients from other clinics and I can say comparing the other experiences, that mine was even better than most of the people there.”

“My experience from beginning to end has been very smooth. The London office made my booking and transfer to and from the airport easy, and were always at hand when I needed some help. The medical team was superb, Dr Ilker was super and made me very relaxed and confident. I am very pleased with the aftercare service and also with the results I am seeing so soon. “I could not recommend GetHair enough. Every member of the team were extremely professional and delivered exactly what was promised. From the initial contact with Kaan right the way through to Mustapha the driver dropping me off for my return flight, the whole journey and procedure was executed to perfection. Id like to thank all the staff, nurses, Nasimi and Dr Tayfun. Arriving in Istanbul on your own for a procedure like this can be daunting but GetHair did everything to make me feel at ease. Its only been 7 days since my transplant and healing very well. The aftercare from GetHair as been excellent and I cant wait to see the final results.”

“I have been worrying about my hair loss since I was 19 it has been a issue for me every day since, I’m now 25 and nearly 2 weeks ago I got a hair transplant with get hair, what a fantastic experience, everything was so straight forward any question I had was awnsered by Stuart, the driver I had for the weekend was brilliant they was always very informative and made me feel comfortable, hotel was superb defiant five star in which I had room service the whole time! Operation day I had a consultation in the morning he explained in detail the plan of the op and we was under way, there was no pain and they put the tv on for you to watch, so far I am very happy with the experience! I chose get hair due to the amount of research I have been doing online the past year, I have already recommend this company to my brother and he is getting ready to make his booking. “Over the past 6 years I have been considering a hair transplant and I have researched this surgery in great depth. This has included, countries offering the surgery, types of surgery available, quality of surgeons, and costs. This prior work enabled me to understand the great benefits that Turkey could offer me and why I choose it as my destination. There are a number of surgeons who are well rated in Turkey and if you research this you will see that there are probably a handful of rated qualified surgeons who are experienced and recognised worldwide, with Dr Tayfun being one of these. I submitted my details for surgery and I was contacted by Stuart Cuming who was excellent. He answered all my questions and his words of advice made me decide to go for it. Spoke to Stuart on the phone numerous times to work out dates and timings. Nothing was too much trouble and within a few weeks I was booked and ready to go. On arrival in Turkey passport control was very busy and took over an hour to get through which I was concerned about buy my driver was waiting patiently and 45 mins later I was relaxing in my hotel bedroom. Picked up the second day after a good night’s sleep and taken to see Dr T for my consultation. Everything was explained and I was good to go. I was introduced to the team, head shaved, procedure started, quick stop for lunch, and 3800 grafts later the procedure was finished. Final check by Dr T and then 5 mins drive back to hotel. I was then picked up on the morning of day 3 for a further check and aftercare advice and then back to hotel. The aftercare advice is invaluable and my friends who have had hair surgery done in the UK couldn't believe the instructions and tablets I was given to ensure no infection and successful growth. I decided to stay another night in Turkey rather than fly out directly after the consultation. I was then picked up on day 4 driven to airport and dropped off for flight back to UK. What else can I say………….apart from wishing I had contacted Dr T years earlier……everything was first class. If you are reading this review then do not hesitate and get the surgery done by Dr T and his team as they are all superb. I am only 3 months after my procedure and I have good growth starting. Do not worry about any pain. There is very little. Anaesthetic can nip a little but apart from that you feel nothing. Slight head swelling on day 5 but was it was gone by day 8. Stuart still keeps in contact and I keep him updated of progress and will be supplying him with photographs soon to send to Dr T Some tips that will help you on your journey include booking Turkish Airlines business class...well worth the extra money spent to ensure some privacy on the way home and reducing the chance of someone dropping luggage on your head, I took 3 weeks annual leave after the procedure which was great, and also I kept away from heavy exercise for 2 months which worked for me……and the overall cost for surgery and flights was half the price of what I was quoted in the UK. Looking forward to the next 6 months to see how my hair continues to grow.”

“This is a honest review for anyone searching the internet trying to find the best hair transplant possible for them. I’d read a lot of reviews from people who were unsure if a hair transplant was for them, however I already knew that was what I was going to do to help combat hair loss, so the question for me was ‘where’? I’d already had an FUT transplant back in 2014 and knew back then that I would need another several as I would recede more in the future, and I don’t take any medication to stop hair loss. I had my first transplant at a clinic in the UK, great service and clinic etc, but price was way more than abroad. I decided to look further afield for surgery, primarily to save money. I done what whoever reading probably did and searched for hair transplant turkey and found a list of different clinics, all offering great prices. Next I spoke to several and immediately after speaking to Stuart, GetHair was the clinic I wanted to use. I was informed fully of the surgeon, his team, the clinic, the hotel etc... I was met at the airport by a great bloke, who took me to my hotel then to and from the clinic and back to the airport, no messing about. 10/10. I believe the hotel was a 5 star, and you could tell this as soon as you walked in the front doors (which had security on). Indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym, modern room, food was excellent. 10/10. The important bit, the transplant. Clinic was spotless, and like a well oiled machine. The surgeon was honest, clearly very knowledgeable and bags of experience. I received 2800 grafts, by FUE. It took a team of about 6 or 7 people about 6 hours. It’s been one week post operation and I’m so happy with the results so far.
