Did a lot of research before finally choosing GetHair and wasn't disappointed. It wasn't just the results (which were so good after 1 session I returned for a second session to finish the job, see photos) but the end to end care that was provided from arrival in Istanbul to departure. Everyone from the collection drivers to the clinic staff were very diligent and took care of all needs and concerns, the hotel facilities were great too. I have no hesitation in recommending GetHair and Dr Tayfun.

My experience with Get hair was absolutely fantastic from beginning till now. My initial emails and contact was with Zak in London who answered every single question of mine in a timely and informative manner. Any concerns I had he was happy to discuss them and put me at ease with a lot of queries I had. Zak was just a great person to talk to from beginning till now. Get hair represent, in my opinion, the most qualified doctors in Turkey that carry out hair transplantation. You have to be very careful who to associate yourself with. I had looked at other places that were much cheaper and tempting because they do have very legit-looking websites etc. However, the doctor I had (Dr Ilker Apaydin) was involved in designing and creating the new hairline which looks very natural. He was also responsible for opening the channels at the front of my head and hairline which put me at ease that a qualified, experienced doctor was doing this crucial part of the process. The technicians (involved in extracting and implanting new hairs) are very experienced and friendly and the assistant who looked after me (Zeynep) was very helpful, calming and happy to answer and queries I had. Overall great experience with this service and I would recommend it to everyone!!! Get hair are definitely not the cheapest in Turkey and, in my opinion, they are not expensive. But you pay for the service and quality of staff you get and when I compare it to some of the people I saw on the flight home that got it from other places and listening to other peoples' horror stories, I definitely do not regret my choice.

I was very apprehensive about traveling abroad for surgery. The main driving factor was price but I was still dubious about doing it. Having gone through it I would recommend it to anyone. The whole process was so simple and GetHair really take care of everything. When I arrived at the Limak Eurasa Hotel I couldn’t believe how nice it was and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I could see the Medistate hospital where the surgery is performed from my room window it is that close! Yet the driver still collects you from the hotel lobby and leaves you back after surgery. The hospital is very clean and modern and they have a English speaking patient liaison that explaines everything that is going to happen. The surgeon Dr Tayfun draws on your new hairline and the before pictures are taken then a nurse shaves your head and brings you into the operating room so the procedure can begin. I have a slight phobia of needles so I was very nervous at this stage but the team where very professional and took blood for the PRP and inserted the drip with minimal discomfort. The anaesthetic injections are quite painful but anyone that is suffering from hair loss will agree that it’s worth it! The good thing is that it doesn’t take long and when when your scalp is numb there is no pain during the actual transplant. I would like to make people aware that although you can’t feel it you can hear the incisions being made and it can be a bit uncomfortable! But again totally worth it. I was very pleased that the surgery only took 5 hours when I had prepared myself mental for an 8 hour session. Once it was done and the donor area bandages up I was given some food, and a painkiller. And after I ate I was given aftercare advice and medication for the night ahead and told to come back in the morning for the full rundown of aftercare and first wash. I spent the rest of the day/night in the hotel room and ordered room service (several times). The next morning the driver collected me from the hotel and took me to the hospital to get the first wash, medication for the first week and a very detailed aftercare talk. They also give you a bag with lotion, shampoo, a headband and hat. I don’t know what kind of hat I was expecting but it’s a black bucket hat with DrThairtransplant embroidered on it. After years of wanting to get this done I wasn’t going to ruin it by wearing a SnapBack right away so I just embraced the fresh surgery look for the first two weeks! I am now 9 weeks post surgery and so far my progress as been pretty much to the book that they gave me. Weeks 10-12 are supposed to be when the transplanted hairs start to regrow so I’m looking forward to the next few weeks. I have already noticed greater density in my transplanted area and I am so happy with how my new hairline is coming along. I will update this (along with before and after pictures) when I get my full results.

I would highly recommend anyone to choose gethair as their choice of company to go forward with a hair transplant procedure. With thousands of websites advertising the procedure, I was particularly interested in Gethair because their website was not full of promotions and unverifiable testimonials, but instead offered transparency throughout. By offering a typical average price, and explanation of why the price is such compared to other countries, it encouraged me to research how accurate their account was, only to take confidence in their accuracy. On the website they also detail the hospital and hotel, both of which can be verified by researching away from their site; and as they have a UK base which can be traced as being not just a virtual business, I was further at ease knowing that Gethair as a company was “above board”. As they also have a good number of YouTube videos offering accounts of patients’ experiences at all stages, it was reassuring to see real people coming to Gethair for their procedures. After making my initial enquiry, I was asked to submit photos of my hair from several angles. I submitted these to Gethair and within a few days I received a detailed report from Dr Tayfun, specific to myself, explaining what work would be carried out, and with a final quote which was almost the same as the generic cost shown online, and at no point did I feel any pressure to make any financial commitment to the procedure. It’s worth noting that the quote includes virtually everything, and it makes the experience even better value than imaginable. The quote includes the driver taking you to and from the airport in Istanbul, to and from the hotel and the hospital, breakfast and accommodation in a very comfortable and high standard hotel - and of course the hair transplant procedure itself. Return flights, evening dinner and room minibar (soft drinks only of course), are your only additional expenses. Dinner in the hotel is very good quality and value, with room service available and in spoken English. I couldn’t have felt more at ease on operation day itself. As advised I had a good breakfast (I definitely recommend Turkish eggs), and the driver arrived on time to take me to the hospital just a short drive away from the hotel. Staff were very welcoming, the hospital immaculate, and there was a clear high standard. As the procedure was underway and following anaesthetic, the operating staff regularly ask if you are experiencing any pain to make sure you’re always comfortable, and if any anaesthetic wears off or not enough is administered, they will stop and ensure you’re comfortable before carrying on. Most staff speak some English, but fully fluent staff are available at any time if needed for more complex English conversations. What’s it actually like having the procedure? Easy, simple, nothing to it, sit back and relax. It’s very much like having a filling replaced at the dentist except the procedure is to the scalp not gums; in other words, it’s really not a big deal at all. You’re lying back on a dentist like chair, it’s not particularly invasive, you’re conscious throughout (though I took a nap for a while), and staff keep you comfortable and informed throughout. With a lunch break at the halfway stage, my procedure of 3,400 grafts lasted around 6.5 hours from start to finish, with very good aftercare given both on the day and for the morning follow-up. From the moment I arrived in Istanbul to the time I left, I felt relaxed, under no pressure, and all I had to do was turn up for my driver when required. Interestingly on my plane home from Istanbul to Heathrow, on a plane with nearly 200 passengers, I noticed around ten other men on the plane who had had the same procedure carried out elsewhere across the city. What I noticed especially was that for several of these men, their operations looked to be of quite poor quality, sparsely transplanted, even half-done jobs where only the front of the scalp was operated on leaving a bald or thin crown untouched, and for some, not particularly protected for the journey afterwards. No headbands, but taped up instead. Speaking to one who had a half-unfinished scalp, when he asked how much I’d paid for full coverage of my scalp, he was quite taken aback as he’d paid much more for a much poorer looking job done. Having seen what other people’s experiences have involved, I definitely take great confidence that Gethair and Dr Tayfun are great value for money, have given me a great looking head and I’m quite excited going forward to seeing my hairgrowing; and most importantly, a very reassuring choice. I’d recommend nowhere else.

Just back in uk after receiving 3800 grafts in cyprus Honestly i must say i was a bit sceptical about going abroad to get this done. But the full gethair team were superb from start to finish. Picked up from airport in very comfy merc benz, taken to very nice 4 star hotel, hospital is imaculate, operation went great, small 5min of pain geting jags, but well worth it. Delighted with results so far, now the waiting game begins to find out results. Dont get this done in uk, go abroad, the cost is a fraction. And i think the service i reveived is 2nd to none

It has now been 6 months since the procedure, I had 3500 grafts mainly on my front area with a small patch on the crown. I have to say I could not be happier with the results. The growth and thickness had blown my mind. I have the hairline I've lacked for the last 7 years again. I would recommend GetHair to everyone it is worth every penny. It is the best thing I gave ever done. Don't bother wasting money on overpriced clinics I'm the UK of US, Turkey is at the forefront of these procedures and Dr T is one of the best out there .

I have so far had an excellent experience. After I paid my deposit I had little to no contact with anybody at the clinic until the day before surgery when I was flying to Istanbul. I figured it was best that I don't think about it. I had read a lot of reviews but the experience was better than I had expected. Like everybdy else will tell you, the only painful part is when they give you the local anaesthetic (which is about 30-25 tiny injections in your head). This is a very annoying ten minutes that you will get through. Everything after that was smooth. I watched a movie, played on my phone etc. while they extracted my donor hairs. Afterwards the doctor came in and opened up holes where the hairs were going to be replanted. I did not look up once so I have no idea what all of this looked like. Then we took a break for lunch. I had a burger and went to the bathroom. I felt absolutely fine. I think I took to the anaesthesia very well as I had no headache or grogginess. Afterwards I went back in for the implantation. Took another 3 hours or so and I watched the Hangover (I recommend you bring your own DVD's, their selection is limited). Finally I was done, they wrapped up my head and sent me to the hotel. That night I felt 100% normal. I had dinner at the hotel and then took a stroll around the neighbourhood. I didn't feel comfortable doing anything so I put myself to sleep at 9. I slept well. I used (and am still using) an airplane pillow below my neck to keep my head elevated. It's actually quite comfortable. They had given me a cover for my pillow as you are supposed to bleed the first night or two. I was lucky to not. So my cover was clean in the morning. I was also told that my face would swell up. It did not at all. The lack of bleeding, pain, or swelling is the real reason that I would gladly refer GetHair to any of my friends, because I had a fantastically easy process with almost no after effects. I read reviews and have friends who had previously done this, who had much less comfortable recovery periods. The next morning I checked out of the hotel and was taken to the hospital. They washed my head and removed my headband. The nurse doing this wasn't that gentle and hit my head slightly when putting it on me which I didn't appreciate. I flew out shortly after and even had a business meeting that night. I have been out and living my life normally since. Today is day 10 and I am starting to look normal (like a guy with a buzz cut) and feel comfortable. Interestingly, whatever pain I felt in my donor area has only started from day 7. My donor area has been itchy and a little sore and I suspect it is because the scabs are starting to dry and fall off. I am now using over the counter pain killers and an anti hestimine to manage this but this is not painful enough to take seriously. It's more annoying than anything. I have been using the conditioner and shampoo for a few days now. Following the conditioner, a lot of white spots have been falling of my recipient area. Some of these have hairs attached, most do not. I can't tell if these are follicles falling off or just the scabs. I hope it's the scabs because I am losing hundreds of them and it only started after day 7. Kaan is very friendly as is the patient coordinator assigned to me who spoke English. I won't really know if this operation has been successful for at least 6 months so I'm not in a position to comment, but at this moment in time, I am a very satisifed customer. I am very happy that I also opted for the Istanbul option because I don't believe I would have done better by paying more and doing it in London. In retrospect there were some things I didn't love but they are not crucial considering what could have gone wrong. - My pick up didn't come get me from the airport so I took a cab. - After the surgery and till today, I have whatsapped the patient coordinator with some questions and gotten no responses. - Nobody (except for Kaan and the coordinator) speaks English. So the whole 8 hour surgery, you have no communication with the people working on you. - I would have liked to have been informed where they were going to plant the hairs in more detail. I am actually extremely pleased with how they dealt with my front hairline but there'a part of my crown which they did not touch which I would have liked them to and assumed they would have. It is my fault for not specifying but it didn't occur to me at the time. - I sent them pictures of the white spots falling off my recipient area and am still waiting to hear if these are follicles or scabs. On a final note, the pros hear by far outweigh the cons. If I were to do it again I would use them, and I would definitely recommend a friend. The process was not a big deal and I genuinely think they were skilled which is why I did not bruise, bleed or swell. Results are to be confirmed. I'll write a follow up review in a few months time. Good luck

So, 5 months on and I took a trip to the barbers, the reason being I was constantly being told, "You need a haircut!" it's been around 17 years since I last heard that. Anyway, I went to my usual barber who was used to just 'trimming the back and sides' in the past so that it blends in with the thin balding top..how I hated that! So I got to the barbers and sat in the chair, I looked in the mirror and saw a bushy unkempt mane staring at me..Yes unbelievably this was my hair. My barber's first words were "What the....??!!" He just kept staring at my mane..then "Wow" he remarked. I then grinned like a Cheshire cat and asked him to cut and style my hair. Yes that's right, I could actually tell my barber how I wanted my hair cut and styled! I sat in the chair grinning as he began to work his magic. Snipping away intricately as I watched my thick mane falling and could now see an amazing transformation unfold. To think just 6 months ago, I was a sad bald mess so to speak haha. 30 minutes into the barber's chair, I was done. I was complete, I was a new man, I am a new man. I found it difficult to recognise myself, the feeling was unbelievable. Never in a million years did I think this could happen and that's no exaggeration. I ran out of the barbers smiling and couldn't help looking at my reflection in every shop window. I dashed home, showered and changed then went out to a wedding party. The compliments kept coming, I was overwhelmed. My wife said, "I've fallen in love with you again!". I am a new man. In summary, all I need to say is.. 'Get Hair.'

Disappointing results. I've had 2 visits to Istanbul to have over 3000 hair grafts each time. The second trip was free after Get Hair agreed the results were not good .. The second time did produce a slightly better finish , but still very thin . This time Get Hair said it must be down to a dermatological problem i must have. Just wanted people to know with all the 5 star reviews , this may not work for everyone.

Your hair transplant is in the safe hands of Dr. Ilker! Overall, starting from initial contact with GetHair, up until now (1 week after transplant) the experience has been great. The response from Dr. Ilker as well as the support staff (including Mr. Aksoy, Ms. Irem, Ms. Laila) have been just fantastic. I hope that the surgery brings positive results as well. So far so good. But too early to get the result part filled in. But, feeling good overall. No setbacks so far in terms of any pain, swelling, rashes or anything that you would associate with a procedure like this. So, couldn't be happier. Issue: Have been losing hair for some time. For a person who had such dense and thick hair; to end up being bald on the frontal area was painful and stressful to look at the mirror. Choosing the right centre: My friend had done it successfully a couple of years back. His recommendation as well as my research led me to believe in Dr. Ilker's centre in Turkey. I got in touch with the contact in the UK; and the rest is history as some would say. Everything went well. Booking and Surgery: The booking process and the procedure details were shared with me in advance. The contact in London helped me to get all the required details before I went ahead with the booking. The reassuring approach with confidence helped me to make my decision. I opted for the best date that worked for me. Trip and Procedure: Trip to Turkey during this pandemic period was always going to be tricky. But, the organising team at GetHair made sure everything goes as per the plan. I was picked up from the airport; got into the hotel. Room was good clean and with nice facilities. And it was very close to the clinic. Next morning, I was picked up on time. Went to the clinic. The tasks were performed like a well oiled machine. Consultation with Dr. Ilker, clarifications needed to reassure me again; and then got my hair trimmed on the donor area. The new hairline was drawn. The procedure started at 8:15 AM. It went on for about 6 hours; and the end result was that I got around 3700 follicles transplanted. and I had time to have a good meal of my choice as well. The team explained the medication that I should take for that night as well as subsequent days/weeks/months. They dropped me back at the hotel. Next morning, I was told to go back to the clinic to get the donor area bandage removed. I hired a taxi and went with another patient who was staying in the same hotel, to the clinic. They removed the bandage, washed the donor and recipient areas. Gave the full dose of medication that I had pre-ordered to take with me. Collected them and got back to the hotel by walk. Reached home safe and sound; and throughout the period until I write this review; the team in Turkey as well as in the UK have been very proactive in replying to my queries promptly. And the progress made so far gives me full confidence that I would get near normal hairline that I used to have some 10 years back. It may not be as thick as the natural hairline; but the mirror image does give me some confidence to stop looking at my receding hairline, instead start looking at my face, in another 6-7 months' time. Could not be happier with Dr. Ilker and his team. I would hope that the good vibes I have been receiving since the procedure translates into a great hairline that would last for 20-25 years. I would recommend this centre for anyone who has lost their hairline and are now reluctant to look at themselves in the mirror. I hope to get back to this review site and provide before and after photos of my hairline in another 7-8 months from now.

It's important to keep in mind that GetHair is an agency that deals with multiple hair transplant surgeons. So the quality of your result will depend mostly on the doctor you go with. I had a HT with Dr. Apaydin and he absolutely butchered my hair. I would avoid him at all costs. He only does the "incisions" and leaves the extractions/implantations to the nurses/techs who ripped a big bald spot in the back of my head (the "donor zone"). This was b/c they didn't space the extractions since they were rushing. The whole surgery was "rushed." And most of the 2,250 grafts extracted were damaged b/c only 750 grafts survived in the recipient area leaving me with ridiculously low density of 25grafts/per sqcm (great doctors will give you 50, average doctors will give you at least 40, poor doctors 35). After seeing other reviews of this doctor here, I can see I'm not alone. "Nick C" wrote "Many follicles transplanted do not appear to have grown, which suggests that they were damaged during the removal procedure from the donor region." Yep, same happened with me. Nearly 70% (!) of the extracted hairs did not survive. At least before the HT my receding temples looked natural, now it's just an unnatural mess b/c of the low density. To be clear, it's not the agency's fault. But you must choose your doctor wisely. Oh one last thing. You won't know your results until at least 6 months post-op so I would recommend waiting that long until you post a review.

A shockingly bad experience and result. Having now been to Istanbul three times at three different clinics I feel that I have full experience of what to expect in Istanbul. Gethair gave me a very unnatural hairline with multi hair grafts in the hairline leaving a "dolls head" appearance. The second clinic which apparently I can't name were half the price and improved things and the third clinic finished things off and were by far the best. DO NOT GO TO GETHAIR. There are much better options out there.

I decided last march that I wanted to get a transplant, having spoken to a friend who also went with Get Hair. I emailed Stuart and then went on to book a consultation at the hq in Chiswick. Stuart made me feel at ease straight away and explained in detail the experience ie. info about the transplant and the journey to Turkey. They took photos and then were in contact in a few days to tell me how many grafts I would need and the cost. i went ahead and booked in right away. Ive not long been back from Turkey having booked the treatment for 10/01/20 and could not recommend the guys any more highly. before flying i was given the contact details of the liaison out in Turkey, and as soon as i landed the communication was great. however the only blip was my driver was not there right away, this didn't do much for my nerves being in a foreign country and about to have surgery but this was the only down side. the surgery itself was painless, a little discomfort when they inject the aesthetic but thats it, they talk to you and let you know what they are doing throughout. having spoken to a few lads at the airport. I definitely know there are cheaper companies to go with when thinking of a transplant, but they do not offer the same things as get hair. for one having the consultation before getting to Turkey is massive, with the language barrier this could easily go wrong if you go in there blind. But for me money was not the issue. I didn't shop around as i went with a friend and saw his results. and also seeing other people and speaking to them the aftercare instructions are different with many different companies but i feel the instructions i was given were much better than anyone else i spoke to. I hope this review will help anyone thinking of booking with these guys! Joe Morris

i was an unfortunate victim of Zeiring Medical Uk. Had done an FUT with them which left a scar and the surgery was not a successful one thanks to the surgeon skills. they had poor customer service and were a rip off. after much disappointment , frustration, i happen to come across gethair website by chance. having carried out extensive research, thought to give it a try. Stuart (Patient Coordinator, Uk) was helpful throughout the process. my present photos of the frontal hairline, side and crown were emailed across and within a day, the report was send from Dr T. the report was very detailed in terms of the number of grafts, the coverage, the density in terms of graft placement etc. I was pretty impressed with the detailed report vs the horrible experience i had from Ziering. Decided to give it a try, booked the tickets and off went for the Hair transplant session. On the day of the surgery, Galina(Patient Co ordinator, Turkey) was assisting with explaining the details of how the surgery. I met DR T, a very pleasant, humble man with massive amount of experience. He drew the hairline explained how the grafts will be placed. the surgery lasted for 6 hours with an extraction of 2850 grafts to cover the frontal and the crown. the whole package included 2 nights 5 star hotel stay plus the surgery. the local anaesthetic wasn't painful at all. PRP was administered prior to implantation. the opening of channals and extraction was carried out by DR T himself. Transplant was carried out by the nurses. 1st day post HT, the nurse will be carrying out the first wash, removing the bandage and cleaning the donor and recipient area. along with this, the post hair Transplant pack with detailed instruction guidelines are explained and shared by the co ordinator. in Turkey for finasteride, you do not require prescription as compared to the UK. It is extremely cheap in Turkey with £3 per pack of 28 tablets in one pack. please buy them. the pharmacy is right in front of the hospital. Special thanks to Julia(Patient Co ordinator) who was patient and tolerant to answer my phone calls @6 am to ensure the cab driver arrived on time to the hotel for pick up and drop off to the airport. the cab drivers were very helpful to ensure i do not bump when getting into the car and exiting. Overall the experience was excellent. Special thanks to DR T, the patient co ordinator(Galina), and nurses who helped throughout the process. the care was excellent and I believe this should be a learning curve for the UK HT surgeons. in the UK, the surgeons aim at ripping patients off with huge costs and no after care are provided, whereas in Gethair Turkey, the experience was great. I am on a waiting game to see how the HT works out. definitely will post more pictures. I have uploaded pics on surgery day and 5 days post HT and they are healing well

I started conducting research in 2011 when i began to lose my hair. I had consultations with many leading HT doctors, here in London and Ireland. Each time I was not overly impressed with the final results of their clients. For me, money was not the issue. I wanted to feel comfortable and impressed with the client results. I had many friends attend Turkey for their operations. Around a year ago, one of my closest friends chose 'Get Hair' to do his HT. I followed his journey very closely. I was shocked with the amazing results he was having.. at 3 months, 6 months and then a year. I was highly impressed and at times could not believe it! Lucky for me, I would see him everyday and saw everything in my own eyes. I was so impressed with the results that i stopped my research and got in contact with Get Hair. I explained to them that after seeing my friends hair my mind was made up to go with them 100%. I attended a consultation and booked my flight out. Upon arrival i was picked up by the driver and taken to a 5 star hotel. Upon arriving I felt so at ease as I saw many other males there who had bandages on, having just had their surgery. I engaged with many, and still am in touch today. On the day of the surgery, I met the team who were all friendly and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. Throughout, I was constantly kept aware of what was happening. Each stage was explained clearly. The operation took around 4 hours. I was then bandaged up and sent back to hotel. The aftercare was done the following day and once again everything was clearly explained. It was been 3 weeks now, and so far everything is going to plan. The scabs were all gone by day 12. The redness has now completely gone. I have small hairs growing everywhere. I am most impressed with the hairline the doctor created. I feel younger even now, before the hair has grown!. I highly recommend this company. I have seen what they did for my friend and I have full confidence that that I will get similar results. Do not hesitate to book with them. Any questions feel free to contact me.

The biggest decision maker for me was the cost. UK & Ireland was out of reach price wise for me. I’d only heard of FUT. I’d heard about Turkey and started researching and found it appeared to be the worls capital for hair transplants and that’s when I discovered FUE which was far more appealing. Many many review videos and photos later I decided to go with GETHAIR because their website was very professional and was more like a UK private clinics website. They provided a consultation by email. Now this may not appeal to you; but they only need to see what hair you have and estimate the number of grafts and whether it can be done in one or two hits. Some may need more than one transplant procedure and you have to wait 12months between them. Max number of grafts in one procedure is 4000 so if you need 7000 then it will be 2 trips for you. I basically just bit the bullet and booked for 1 month later. It’s something that bothered me on a daily basis. The price included private taxi from the airport and back again and also included the hotel for 2 nights. The only addition were my flights and evening meals. The clinic is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and they have a representative to come and meet you at the hotel so no concern trying to find it. BTW don’t be put off about travelling to Turkey. I never felt threatened at all and like anywhere the media only show the negative stuff. They’re lovely people, the airport security is better than ours and you are met at the airport. The procedure begins with being given a couple of pills (valium etc). They then take some blood and then colour (if you’re grey like me) the donor area (the bit of your had that they will take the hairs from). This is so they can see the hairs btter for extraction and implantation. They then shave your head all over on a blade 1. The surgeon then examines you again and draws your new hair line. You then lay face down on a bed the same as a massage table with your head in a donut hole whilst they anesthetise you head. This for me was very painfull. They then begin the extraction process. This took several hours and is uncomfortable. If you feel pain anywhere they will add more anesthetic to that area. Make sure you goto the loo before they begin!! You then get a short break for lunch which they provide. Don’t get excited about the lunch. It was cold soup, beef and rice. The implantation then took a further 3.5hours for 3800 grafts. This any agony because you CAN NOT move. So you ache from head to foot. I managed to keep adjusting the position of my legs. But it’s mind numbingly laborious. BUT 100% worth it so just get on with it. This is quite an intense operation in my view. This is not a quick bit of botox style procedue. There will be bleeding and it is painful and uncomfortable at times. They then give you some post opp medication which are anti-inflammatories, pain killers and anti-biotics. The back of you head will be bandaged and you have to wear a blqck headband to control the swelling. You MUST wear this including at the airports and all the way home for 4 days. But rest assured you won’t be the only one but you will get stared at a lot. It’s actually quite therapeutic and we found it quite funny in the end. Sleeping is pretty uncomfortable for the first 10days and your head will feel odd for several weeks. It feels as though every folicle has and is being pulled from you head at times. Paracetamol works well after you’ve finished their medication. The bottom line is 1 would 100% recommend Dr Llker and GetHair. Traveling abroad for any procedure has it’s risks because it’s away from what we know. But don’t be put off. My first 2 photos are within the first 2 days post opp. You can see there is swelling. The 3rd photo is 14days later.

I had been looking at hair transplants in England for about two years but the cost was putting me off . Then about two months ago I watched the one show on bbc1 about two twenty year old lads who had gone to Turkey for a hair transplant which was half the price you would pay in England and what a success it had been. I would normally be sceptical about traveling abroad for the procedure but as the bbc were recommending it I thought I would look into it. I researched a few places in Istanbul and Get Hair stood out as they did the procedure in a hospital had great reviews and a very respected surgeon. I contacted Stuart Cuming in England who arranged ever aspect of the procedure from the transfers to and from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the hospital. On the morning of the procedure I was met at the hotel by my co ordinater who took me to the hospital and along with the surgeon and his team explained what was about to happen. I was at the hospital most of the day and was also given lunch . After the procedure it was explained how many grafts I had received and how to treat my hair post procedure. When I first saw the results I was more than happy and I would say it was better than I had probably expected. I would recommend Get Hair to anyone thinking of a hair transplant they might be a little more money than other clinics but as I said you’re in a hospital and the results were amazing . In conclusion I can honestly say the whole experience from start to all the aftercare I received was well worth it Lee Crook
