“Bought the Amber Scout for hiking in Scotland, 3 seasons. Bought product from an outdoor shop. Wanted something small, slim, with a locking knife, scissors and at a price that wasn't going to hurt the wallet. The slim size of it is fantastic, along with a decent locking knife for safety. The saw is useful, however only for small jobs, due to size. Would have liked to have seen the can opener having a locking mechanism. However I would only use this tool in base camp as I'm not dragging cans of food up mountains. The scissors are probably the worst tool, can just cut paper and thin string. Needed this to cut first aid items if necessary. Like the hammer, pry bar, bottle opener functions as a quirky gimmicks.I'm sure I will use the bottle opener in base camp. Overall it will do the job and I'm pleased I've bought it. Fine for day hikes and overnight camps. Wouldn't take it on any long expidations into the wilderness unless I had a good second knife. There are far better knives out there for hiking, mountaineering but at a greater price. I've been mountaineering and hiking for over 35 yeas, in the UK and various other countries. Currently training to be a UK Mountain Leader”

“Great product with excellent customer service within the company. After placing my order with next day delivery I had yet to receive any additional information or shipping link with delivery detail. I followed up with the company and they sent it on the next shipment and I received it less than 24 hrs later with a refund on my delivery as it had been delayed due to a system error.”

“Very clear and easy to use web site. Clear pictures and descriptions of the multi-touch we looked at. Nice to be able to have inscription on a blade. Ours is a gift for our grandson's 18th birthday which is still to come. We chose Gerber as my husband has the same 'tool' which works so well. Safely packaged and a quick delivery. Highly recommend store.”

“Overall the gerber armband slim is a handy tool the knife is ground good and sharp out the box the drive is ok it’s not the best but adequate the indent is much improved as the last one had was loose but alas I lost it left on a job and gone my only gripe is the quarter drive is a little loose with supplied bit but use a dewalt bit it fits snuggly and don’t wobble all in all a good handy tool just wish it had a pocket clip”
