Hi guys' I needed to get a first home loan. The loan company requirements were a credit score from 600 upwards to get the loan, oh no! my credit score was stocked at 460 and I had no clue on what to do to increase my score I had no negatives or late payments on my report, I had 3 credit cards that I needed to pay off but weren't maxed out, I have a car loan and a student loan, but never missed a payment on one, I just didn't know why my credit was so low, I contacted TROVIANCREDITREPAIR@GMAIL.COM they helped me and I'm currently running on a 810, thanks to their great team

Absolutely disgraceful service! Had to make a claim and when ringing initially a young lad talked me through everything and seemed very nice but to the actual help the insurance company give is shocking. They have a company that collects the car but I was waiting 5 hours and they rang to say I’d be waiting longer they told me to leave the key under the car which I did due to them suggesting it and they left it over night till the next morning! I waited 7 months for my car to be fixed and I missed work and had to rely on other people and didn’t try to help to get a hire car or courtesy car at all. And would be on hold for hours at a time trying to get updates on the car. I Would not recommend Hastings to anyone!

I have been paying HD for 3 years now for my house insurance. without any claims. when we do need to claim we follow the instructions of the loss adjuster and then HD give a settlement figure that is 45% of the cost of the repair. 4 weeks later i got a lady on the phone after 8 phone call attempts and she listened to my plight and amended the settlement fee. sadly it has taken soo long for this to be settled it me think why do we pay for insurance.

What went wrong - everything. Hastings direct "offered" to take over from my car insurance company when one of their clients damaged my car in a car park. Foolishly, I agreed to this – but NEVER again. The damage was relatively minor - scruffs, broken light unit etc - I am currently hoping to get my car back 10 weeks later. True, they arranged a hire car promptly - but I had to go and collect it myself, and it was not the equivalent "prestige" replacement promised. There was then a black hole in which I repeatedly had to chase Hastings - who off-loaded responsibility to FMG, who off-loaded responsibility to a distance (note: not a local) repair shop – for the car to be collected. Two weeks later, after a lot of me chasing this up, and after rude customer service responses from Hastings, and all round general blame shifting, the said local repair shop arrived to collect. Not with a trailer, as I expected, but to drive it back themselves despite the fact my car was NOT STREET legal and they were told so! I asked to be kept informed of progress on the repair – but heard nothing for the next 7 weeks – until eventually I got a call to say “come and get it yourself”. I cannot drive a hire car to the repair shop and then drive BOTH a hire car and my car back home, and I work full time and should not have to drive an hour round trip to do this myself anyway. It is not my responsibility to sort out the logistics – it is theirs. When I contacted Hastings yet again, they were as usual less than helpful – they also suggested I would probably have to deliver the Hire car back myself because poor old Enterprise were too busy to come and get it themselves. I refused. I await the final chapter – my car repaired and delivered to my door, and the hire car collected from my door – it could be a few more weeks judging by past performance. NEVER EVER let Hastings Direct take over a claim from your insurance company to save themselves some money – it’s a world of pain. And it must have cost them an arm and a leg renting me out a car for almost 10 weeks. I’m sure it would have all been sorted in 2-3 weeks if only I’d let my own insurance fix it and then charge it through to Hastings.

They were cheap, but when I had to make a claim they have been absolutely useless. I submitted the claim in August 2022. It's now May 2023 and after them never proactively contacting me (I've always had to chase them) my repair has still not been carried out.

I’ve been with Hastings me and my husband it was ridiculous we were On the phone for 3 Hours pulled from pillar to post. The colleagues were all great but it was just one person didn’t know what they were doing!!! But I still would go for Hastings direct cause it’s the best deal

Hi I purchased a new car Ford Focus st and phoned to change my insurance policy over, I was told Hastings direct could not insure me for this car, I am 51 years old with over 20 years no claims and never even had a speeding ticket, I have previously ensured cars like a golf r, focus rs, ect and currently have a high spec BMW insured with Hastings but I can’t insure a Ford Focus st, they wouldn’t even give me a reason only the guy I was talking to said his manager said no, he only offered to wave my cancellation fee when I found another insurance company Which was pretty easy. THIS COMPANY IS A ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!

Hello Steven, I can appreciate the frustration this can cause. At the point of each change the underwriter reviews their acceptance criteria and the perceived risk. As a result of this, the level of risk they can accept and cover can change. It is possible that there are details on your policy our underwriters can no longer cover and as a result they couldn't provide you with a price for the new vehicle. I'm afraid as the broker Hastings Direct isn't always privy to why this is the case. I'm sorry to read about this and I'm glad that you are able to find suitable cover for your vehicle. ~Theo
