“very Bad Insurance Company, never ever take any insurance from this Insurance company, they are just the Brokers, middleman to make money out of customers pocket, never deal with them, they will mug you as they did to me, I been paying expensive Insurance of £175 pounds per month for years and when I tried to put a claim, this people keep on transferring my phone call from one dept to another and wasted my 1 hour 15 min and finally gave me a reason saying they can't sort out my claim of robbed car, very disappointing, will never recommend such car Insurance Company, not even deserve one star, think before falling pray for such car Insurance brokers!!!!”

Hello Joshua, I can appreciate the frustration the fee can cause. Hastings Direct does disclose all the fees that can be incurred on the policy prior to it's purchase. I'm sorry if this wasn't seen and has come as a surprise as a result. Looking at the policy, I can only see the a £20 arrangement fee was charged. Hello Colin, I'm sorry to see that the renewal itself wasn't competitive on this occasion. Hastings Direct is a broker that works on behalf of a number of underwriters and also provides a few levels of cover. This means that prices can vary internally and appear cheaper online or in the call centre. It's good to see that you have since been able to find more competitive cover for your vehicle. ~Theo
