“Although my renewal by telephone was thorough, it was fairly laborious. With hindsight, I should have just left it to go through automatically by direct payment renewal from my account. The answerphone message after the renewal process was completely pointless. It just went on and on about direct debit instalments, which I don’t do. This was AFTER the person with whom I had processed my renewal told me that it was a message I was seriously obliged to listen to. Not true! A complete waste of my time and cost of the call!”
