Yesterday I completed the application form and at the payment stage Iwas told by my bank that payment had been authorised. However, on the application form I received a message from Skippy telling me that payment hadn't been made.
Stupidly, I went through the whole application system again and paid again. Once more my bank approved the payment and again I was told that payment hadn't been made.
I telephoned Skippy and I was instructed to send them an email with a screenshot of my bank paying the fee, and theonce they had received the message they would consider me for insurance. I told the operative that I had never had to do anything like this in over 55 years of insuring my cars. She responded by saying something like, "well that's how we do it".
Skippy is an excellent name for this company, it sticks out from the rest. It also acts as a tip off for would be customers to SKIP IT. As the saying goes, "You pay peanuts ad you get momkeys". Nuff said.”
