About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“I spent almost £26 on oxtail and God forbid if that is £26 of ox steel there was no there was no oxtail. It was just a small quantity and that sort of money is an extortion you know you spending £26 and oxtail and you’re not getting any oxtail. I find that the prices are very high and the portions are very small. You know everybody’s struggling you know everybody’s having a hard time you know I think from a cow these people can make almost 10,000 from one cow up to 20,000 because a tiny piece of meat is like £100 so eating meat will be reserved for the Rich Not the poor not the working class”

I love this company because of their values, sustainability farming, and organic produce. The butchers in the farm shop are very friendly and welcoming, the online deliveries are processed quickly and delivered on time. I can't praise Gazegill highly enough and will be visiting their restaurant Eight at Gazegill in the very near future!”
