“The order was fine. But DPD delivered to the wrong door despite clear instructions. I won't order from forest foods if the delivery can't be trusted.”

“Products good, but unfortunately the very plastic packaging is a problem for me, so I doubt I’ll order again.. shame as there are alternative packaging solutions that are more sustainable and aligned with those of us seeking to make greener informed purchasing choices.”

Hi there Sarah, Thank you for your feedback regarding our packaging. This is something that is always on our minds here at Forest Whole Foods. When we first started our company, we tried various options for packaging, including paper products. Unfortunately, they were too weak, and as paper is porous, it didn't keep the produce fresh. Upon further investigation, we also found that paper has a bigger carbon footprint than plastic. We currently use polyethylene bags which can be widely recycled in the UK - this is through kerbside collection or local supermarkets. Our labels can also be easily removed before recycling. We use recyclable paper tape on our boxes and kraft paper packaging for protection inside. We hope this helps to alleviate some of your concerns. “Fast Delivery. Good Boxing. A tad disappointed that in May, the expiry date is Oct which I thought would be longer thus buying 5 packs. But, very happy & will buy again. will it be a good idea or possible to put the expiry dates on each product!”

“Placed the order late Thursday night. They sent all my products Saturday via DPD with no Saturday fee. Boxed an packaged very well. Airtight 1kg bags. Nuts taste fresh. No stale products. Haven’t tried the seeds yet but I’m sure same quality”
