“The magnets arrived promptly and were useful for detecting stud partitions inside a skimmed plasterboard wall. They are extremely powerful, almost impossible to separate if they link up, and they will if they are in any way close to each other. The problem is that the chrome coating and indeed the magnet itself is brittle and likely to break, especially if dropped onto the floor. They need a more robust casing, then the brittle nature of the magnet material will not be an issue.”

Neodymium magnets by there nature are brittle, and warnings are provided with every order around safe handling and how to separate them.
Dropping Neodymium magnets on the floor does pose a risk of chipping, but we do offer a range of rubber coated magnets, designed to offer an extra level of protection - our F646R is a similar size to the magnets you ordered and would still provide use in detecting studs with the addition of the extra coating. There are several applications our magnets are used for and unfortunately we cannot add extra coatings like rubber to every product, but do offer a wide range of magnets with additional coatings such as rubber to provide that level of protection where needed.

“Product ok but the delivery costs was incrediblly high. We use DPD so we know the costs of delivery and this was very excessive. Packaging was also not adequate - the boxes were delivered split.
Delivery was quick - next date and product fine.”

“Little disappointed with the depth of pre-sale technical information. Person on phone tried to he helpful and read pre prepared scripts in answer to my queries. But she simply did not understand the practical application and use in a workshop situation. Not much help.
50kg lever magnetic clamp seems ok but switchable welding magnet poor in build quality and I doubt if it has the magnetic pull claimed.”

“Ordering easy and delivery was quick. However, the product is disappointing. The magnets are really not strong enough and only just work. I have a handmade cottage style kitchen with solid wood doors so with the slightest touch the door pops open as the magnet doesn’t hold firm (and just to confirm I spent time and trouble making sure the fixing plate was positioned for maximum “stick”). They are probably fine on modern lightweight cabinets but I won’t fit any more to the rest of the kitchen.”

“Magnets were absolutely fine. But the ferrous rubber sheet was terrible does not hold any magnet and definitely not useful for miniture storage. Just go for a sheet of steel or similar and dont waste the money.”

“Easy ordering process and fast delivery.
I bought 5 self-adhesive sheets and am a little disappointed by the adhesive not being strong enough (put up on painted walls). One sheet completely fell down overnight, around 12 hours after first putting up, and then had curled and stuck to itself. This was despite regularly going over the sheets with a flat mop head to ensure they were fully pressed against the wall. It took a lot of effort to get it unstuck and the adhesive tore in parts and left it very creased. We stuck that back up with our own adhesive and supplemented the adhesive on another two sheets which were starting to curl. The final two sheets seemed fine so after 3 days I stuck up some photos - they then started curling so have had to add my own glue. There were no instructions provided so maybe I was doing something wrong?
I’d bought ferroflex sheets for two purposes - to put up photos in one room, and to display my fridge magnet collection in another. I knew I’d likely need neodymium magnets as this was clear in the description - however some of my fridge magnets needed 2 or 3 N52 magnets adding before they’d hold.
Overall, although not quite as good as I was hoping for, I’m happy with the final result and they’re certainly much more cost effective than options like a giant whiteboard/noticeboard.”
