Hi Colin, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We have looked into this situation internally to see what happened here. This delivery was due to be delivered today however you got in touch to ask for this to be cancelled yesterday, I confirmed on the same day that the order had been cancelled as they requested. This order has now been refunded. You should be receiving this shortly. Based on this speedy reply, we would ask if you could kindly amend this review is possible. Thank you

“Placed order on 28/7/23 still not arrived, no communication from company, only way to contact is via email or contact form - tried both still not had a reply from either. No having to chase for a refund of nearly £300. Nightmare company!”

Unfortunately, delivery of this item was attempted on 31/7 however nobody was present to sign for this delivery. This was due for redelivery tomorrow however as requested this has now been cancelled. Sorry that on this occasion you didn't manage to receive your item but hope the full refund gets to the promptly. Thank you,

“Absolute rubbish It took over 2 weeks to get a 4kg powder extinguisher, as it said when purchasing 3-5 days. No email or call to explain the delay "NOTHING" Shocking service "PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE FOR FIRE SAFETY NEEDS AS THEY ARE SHOCKING"”

Hi Gene, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. Unfortunately, it seems the delay in this getting to you was caused by the fact that there was nobody home to collect this delivery. This was a signed delivery and required somebody present. This delivery failed 2 before it was signed and delivered. “The driver is kind and friendly but the delivery company DX is appalling! They insisted that they will not put the parcel anywhere or give to anyone other than my self. They also refused to tell the driver to put the parcel on my safe place that I have chosen Therefore I have to cancel all my commitments and stay at home waiting for the driver. Surprisingly no signature or ID was requested from me!! Please don’t use this delivery company for me again Thanks”

“FSE is actually operated by Marlowe Fire & Security Ltd, who I believe sub-contract to a 3rd party. There is no apparent contact phone number for Fire Safety Equipment on their own website or any correspondence - less than ideal when things do not go as planned The paid for Next Day delivery took 5 days, something to do with postal address issues - needs sorting out chaps The boxes arrived damaged, but goods inside were ok. However the ordered, & itemised on `picking list` 1kg Dry Powder was not there - in its place a 1kg Foam - again not great I must say the contact, Peter, @ Marlowes was very helpful - just a shame whomever is responsible for picking & packing the order + the delivery service (quality + time scale) is awful. I would not, NOT use again, but not necessarily my first choice - such a shame”
