“Beware of the Euro Car deposit policy which states that they only repay the deposit up to 30 days after the return of the car. On a recent trip to Croatia we paid an €800 deposit (€70 hire) for a compact car for two days which was a substantial part of our travel budget. Repayment happened two weeks after we had returned from our vacation.”
