“I used Essential Adventure for my best friends stag do in December. I was worried about finding something to do and somewhere to stay between Christmas and New Year (the dates the stag was back in the country). I needn't have worried. I stumbled across Essential Adventure purely by chance and I'm so glad that I did. I spoke with Matt who couldn't have been more helpful. We arranged Zorb Football, hover craft racing and somewhere to stay, all for a fantastic price. Matt was also helpful when a couple of the group had to change plans. I genuinely felt like he cared about our experience. I've since had a work colleague looking to book a hen do for her friends. I pointed her towards Essential Adventure who, I'm told, have sorted everything that they wanted. In short, if you're looking at booking a stag or hen do, USE THIS COMPANY!!! I imagine the same applies to team building days and such. I would not hesitate to use Essential Adventure again and I'll recommend them to anyone looking at organising stag or hen do's etc. Throughly excellent!!”

“Excellent. Most of our group had never tried caving before so did have some reservations, but our guide put us all at ease and quickly realised that we were confident enough to be a little more adventurous once inside. The time went far too quickly, and we did ache a little a day or so afterwards, but it was enormous fun and I would highly recommend caving (and your company).”

“We organised a whole day of activities, caving in the morning and coasteering in the afternoon, for our Explorer Scouts whilst on our Summer Camp. It was an absolutely fantastic day, well organised and set at the right level to be both challenging and fun. Was the highlight of our Summer Camp and would use Essential Adventure again.”

“Matt and all the team at Essential Adventure pulled together a wonderful weekend package for our annual Summer retreat. Matt took care of all the details, from catering, camping and facilities to activities and evening entertainment. It was a very detailed brief and he managed to meet it on every level, even coming in under budget! I would recommend Essential Adventure for any team building activities or retreats - they will adapt their packages to suit your organisation and will do their utmost to get a thorough understanding of what it is that you need from them. Our employees are still talking about that weekend and the fun that they had!”

“Me and my partner booked a sea kayak trip, unfortunately I fell very ill just before. Even though I called they day before. essential adventures were amazing and rearranged the trip. Both me and my partner had a fantastic day, our guild was great, with loads of random historical knowledge of the area. We stopped on a remote beach and a picnic was prepared for us and a bottle of champagne. The trip lasted around 6hrs and I can say it was a b#very memorable day and any activity days I want to book I will be using essential adventures.”

“"Fantastic hassle free Stag do" All the lads had a fantastic time in Nottingham and thanks to Matt the process of getting it all organised was far less stressful. The activities went without a hitch (clay pigeon shooting and crossbows) and were great fun and the nights stay was clean and comfortable. I recommend highly!”

“I was responsible for arranging a Stag do for one of my best friends and 12 guys (half of whom I didn't know) - so it had to be good. However the requirement from the Stag wasn't in the usual Stag do format and so I found most Stag event companies weren't geared up for our requirement or able to help. Fortunately I found Essential Adventure. The brief from the Stag was: "Something fun for us all to do in the day, a few beers, a nice meal and somewhere communal where we can all go back to and continue chatting etc." OK then, that sounds easy enough. However if you think about it, even getting the day time activity correct when not knowing everyone's preference can be tricky. Not to mention getting a reservation for 12 guys on a Saturday night and then somewhere communal we could all go back to without having to hire a Manor House. Matt worked hard in getting the tone right for us by giving possibilities, discussing the merits of certain activities over others and generally finding out the ideal vibe for the event. It may not sound extra ordinary but the choice really hit the spot. Everyone had a fantastic time and was 100% satisfied with the quality and value of the event. Most of all, the Stag, who had no idea of the plan, had a wonderful time. Activity 1 - Hovercraft racing Activity 2 - Clay Pigeon shooting Evening - Meal at a local pub (1 mile from where we stayed) Nighttime - 15 man teepee, in copse in the middle of a field with a roaring campfire For me, Matt took all the hard word out of planning a Stag do for 12 guys. He understood the overall requirement and was quick to respond with suggestions to any queries I had. I felt well informed of progress and that we were getting good value for money. A full itinerary and contact sheet supplied well in advance of the day, meaning I knew where we needed to be and when, taking away any anxiety and allowing me to enjoy the day fully too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using Essential Adventure for any type of event. But especially bespoke Stag do requirements. In fact, I would suggest them without being prompted. Thanks Matt!”
