“A hassle-free way to organise a group event. Essential Adventure recently helped me organise a murder mystery dinner and hotel for a hen do of 10 people in Oxford. Matt was very knowledgable when we were initially discussing hotels/locations and priced up several options. The online payment system takes the hassle out of collecting money and means that everyone has access to the itinerary. Communication was very efficient, Matt called me just before/after the event to check all was ok, and provided a contact number in case of any issues over the weekend (which we didn't need, all went very smoothly!). Hotel was lovely and the murder mystery event was brilliant, a very fun and memorable evening had by all. Highly recommend.”

“Fantastic experience, Matt was really helpful in suggesting locations and activities, and being able to package it all together with accommodation (& breakfast included, a must have on a stag!) at a reasonable price made my life so much easier. Highly recommend!”

“Matt and team booked our stag do to Liverpool for 14 along with activities at an outdoor activity centre. There were a number of changes and quotes provided as well as some last minute travel arranged, none of which were too much trouble. Everyone had a blast, the activities were spot on and meant we did more than just the pub!! A slight error resulted in a an issue with the hotel, but Matt was really helpful and arranged a refund without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Essential Adventure for any group event and I would use them again!!”

“If you’re debating whether to choose Essential Adventure for an event: don’t hesitate - the murder mystery dining that the hen party & I experienced was unique, funny & simply wonderful. The actors immediately made you feel involved yet comfortable and I couldn’t believe how “into their characters” all of my hen party got! The storyline was hilarious and very well constructed. The food was delicious and the setting in the private cellar was absolutely exquisite. This experience is also such great value for money. Including a nights stay, our 3 course meal & breakfast. The location was perfect - right by the seafront and close to everything. We all had a fabulous time, thank you to Matt & Karen for making it all possible.”

“My son has just come back from his stag party which i booked through Matt. All the boys had a great time in Weymouth and the activities that were booked through Matt were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Matt for everything. You made everything completely stress free with your constant reassuring emails, quick responses and totally put my younger son the best man at ease. “Organised a hen weekend for 25 including hotel stay, day time activity and murder mystery dinner. Couldn’t be happier with their prompt, professional communication. Online system made it very easy to collect money from each guest. Last minute amendment dealt with amazingly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and would highly recommend!”

“We had everything everything lined up perfectly (really easy payment system and itinery breakdowns etc.) for a narrowboat into Oxford, taking 3 days including other plans. Matt Trenchard at Essential Adventure was really helpful in breaking down what we could feasibly fit in, and offered plenty of additional activity suggestions. Unfortunately 2 days before the trip was set to start plan A couldn't go ahead due to flooding. Again, Matt was invaluable in the support with logistics, and was able to spring into action with a contingency for a different narrowboat, on a different canal, and went above and beyond researching costings, timings etc., for everything from new winding points on the canal, new pubs on route, and taxi arrangements to make it into Oxford. 10/10 and no complaints from a fussy part of 11!”

“Matt helped plan our hen weekend 4 times in the end due to all the lockdowns. The 2nd time we changed hotel and it was a beautiful hotel old and modern with plenty of character ,pool and spa and a lake view I was so pleased we had changed it. It was only 5 mins from the city centre we had the country feel but could party aswell. We hired a fab conference room which was such an amazing room with fab views again,everyone was attentive and helpfull. We did a murder mystery evening and the actors really mad a difference to help move the evening on we had a great laugh. Matt was very patient with the numbers changing REPEATEDLY having to keep adjusting the numbers and payments etc but we got a great price fot it all especially once we saw the hotel quality we had been very lucky would defo stay at the hotel again. When your arranging a weekend away for many people by yourself it's nice to have someone to help you and help take some of the hassle and pressure away especially when its 4 times haha. Also your able to log in and start making payments when you can between deadline payments which is great. Would defo recommend and ise if i plan anything again thank you Matt”

“Matt did an outstanding job being able to organise a stag do for 19 people who all had different requests. Everything from initial enquiry, payment, all contact and the event itself were simply outstanding. All we had to do was pay and turn up and everything had been put in place. Just simply amazing and all 19 of us had a great time. Would definitely recommend Matt. Thank You once again simply superb 👍🏻”

“It can be nerve wracking arranging a 'Stag Doo' for the first time but Matt made this so easy with a relaxed approach, everything was sorted with no bother & the payment system was fantastic & easy to sort, thanks again Matt & would recommend to anyone, best of luck to those looking to arrange events, Paul”

“Matt helped organise a stag do in Cardiff in mid May 2022 for 15 people. We had to change plans a couple of months before the scheduled weekend and Matt and his team were very accommodating and helpful. Their online payment system was very efficient and easy to use. As well as the usual drinking activities we went gorge walking on the Saturday which Matt organised for us. The activity lasted for around 3 hours and the two tour guides were brilliant. Jumping off waterfalls and into plunge pools in the valleys was just what we needed to freshen up after the friday night. Highly recommend this as an activity. Would highly recommend booking through essential travel is you want a cost effective, stress free experience! Thank you Matt and Team.”
