“I must start by saying I have no complaint about the business “Elevate Your Sole”. But I do think people should be aware of what happens if you order shoes / boots from abroad. The boots I ordered came to 72€, and everything was fine until they were stopped by customs in Spain. After completing the necessary paperwork I had to pay an additional 50€ in customs and excise. I still haven’t received the boots yet.”

“I am at a loss to understand after returning Gabor 66.090.82 California Ladies Beige Leather Slip On Shoes 4UK-EU37 which cost £53.99, I was only refunded £50.99. It cost £6.65 to return them and took from the 23rd August when they were received until the 27th August for the refund to be applied. I will call in to the Llandudno shop when next I visit.”

Thank you for getting in touch — and I’m really sorry for the confusion here. It looks like my colleague mistakenly assumed you’d used one of our Royal Mail return labels and deducted £3 from your refund in error. It’s an easy fix though, so I’ll get that sorted for you straight away. Just to clarify the timing — your return arrived with us on the Saturday, and we processed the refund on the 26th (Tuesday). We don’t issue refunds over the weekend as our online team aren’t in then, and sometimes banks take an extra day to show the payment back in your account. For future reference, you’re very welcome to use one of our return labels next time — it’s usually the most cost-effective option and saves you a trip to the Post Office too.
