“I needed a fan oven element for an obsolete 40 year old Belling cooker, a Formula 90XOU. I was told by Belling that the cooker was so old the part number or an alternative did not even appear on their old records. I looked at the large number of photos of elements on many suppliers sites including Element Replacement and could not find one that even looked the same shape. However, when I input 90XOU into Element Replacements search facility it came back with one element that would fit an XOU90. Although the model reference was reversed and the shape of the element was totally different (a double stacked circle rather than a single circle within a bell shape) I decided to take a chance. The rating was slightly lower at 2250W rather than 2500w that is stamped on the fixing bracket of the faulty element but the spacing between the connection tabs (50mm) and the diameter of the space to accommodate the fan was okay so I decided to order the part. It was either spend 31 pounds or buy a new cooker at several hundred pounds. I ordered the part (a Belling ELEBL91) at 8pm on Thursday the 28th April, one working day before the weekend and Bank Holiday and it arrived this morning, Tuesday 3 May. I installed the element today, it fitted and works perfectly. Great service and value for money. Alan. (Retired Electrical Engineer)”

“Element was the correct part, but unfortunately the wires in the top oven were too short to be able to fix in place, and as unable to remove the oven door we were unsuccessful and should (in hindsight) have engaged a tradesman.”
